Very good and will go back, but needs maintenance

The room we stayed with private pool was beautiful. So many nice sunsets. The pool itself was great with a toddler. However I do think it should be cleaned every day, I rang to ask to have it cleaned and they said it is cleaned daily but for sure it was not because there was lots of weird white stuff floating in it one of the days. They did send somebody to clean it. Breakfast was great, everything you want. The paid buffet was not worth the money. Did not go to other restaurants in the hotel, but you can find nice places around, or get a bus 10 minutes away. Loved the private beach although I do think they should maintain it a bit better, maybe could be much nicer with some more maintenance to make it less stoney, was a piece of broken flooring there that collapsed when I walked on it and I tripped and nearly fell onto a piece of rebar sticking out of the ground, which could of killed me potentially, so maintenance is required. The views and stuff are beautiful, the gyros on beach were great Planes were very cool to see, didn't really notice too much but our room faced the sea not the airport Bus outside and shop to Corfu town which is great Overall it is good but needs some maintenance to really shine

On the first day there, there was a lady at reception who wasn't the most friendly. Others after were friendly The issue above about the beach and rebar that could have killed me Some maintenance needed Food should be cheaper for the quality Beds in room are nice but they all seem to be singles pushed together which isn't the most pleasant. Beach is really nice but it could be improved Kids area is basically broken. Most things don't work, its not that clean, everything is outdated, pool tables have missing balls so had to go reception multiple times to get money back because we couldn't play the game

A great find, in a super location & only a short bus trip to the centre of Corfu. Facilities fab.

I especially loved the location & the access to the beach & surrounding sights, like Mouse Island etc. The room was perfect & while I had the bed on the ground floor, it was more comfortable than I was expecting. I loved watching the planes arriving to the airport also. The breakfast was amazing as was the sushi restaurant. The outdoor setting was beautiful, but when the rain started, we moved inside. The only suggestion I would make is that the interior of the sushi restaurant wasn't very atmospheric, the lighting was quite harsh. The decor could certainly be improved. Overall we all loved this hotel & will definitely return again.

A relaxing time we needed, we lots of options to move around.

The room we had was a bungalow. Very spacious and a beautiful view of mouse island and the Ionian Sea. We could see the plans coming in too. It was actually a lovely sight and the noise wasn’t an issue at all. The breakfast was 10/10 as was the dinner. Both buffet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The private beach is easily accessible via the funicular which starts at the pool area right down to the beach. There is all you need down there; a beach bar with food and free sun lounges for guests. The beach area is kept very clean too. We spent a few nights at Kefi Lounge as well with live music or a DJ playing until late. We also had dinner there a couple times too, great 10/10. Overall, our 6 night stay was very relaxing, very comfortable, we had all we needed there on site. We did ventured to the old town 2 times via line 2 Kanoni, right outside the gates of hotel complex. Very convenient. 100% recommend this if you’re looking at comfort, relaxation, luxury, and service.

Nice stay for our wedding anniversary!

Lovely hotel with great views of the runway. The room was spacious, nice size balcony. Staff were friendly. Great parking too as we hired a car. Nice grounds to walk around and great access to the beach. Reception was great at anything needed, service was good.

Food here definitely wasn’t 5* worthy. We wanted to have half board but the first night we did, we did not feel it was worth €25 each, the quality wasn’t great and after paying for drinks on top it just didn’t seem worth the money, so we ended up eating out nightly where there was plenty of restaurant choices, whether that’s in the town or nearby. Also breakfast, although quite a good amount of choice, just didn’t keep hot, quite often it would be cold, like the eggs for example. It was a bit outdated to be honest, rooms need freshening up. The shower was a terrible pressure and didn’t stay in the same place, always fell loose. The levels -2 in the hotel smelt awful of damp, just needs to have a very good refurb. Toilet was right up against the wall which didn’t give you much room, just a terrible design.

The holiday property offers a beautiful view and proximity to the beach, but the beach itself is small and rocky.

I like this holiday property because it has a beautiful view , it’s close to the town center and airport , has great amenities and the food is the best.I had a peacefull atmosphere.

I don’t like the beach is rocky,not soft sand and is a small area to sit and relax but is woaw to take the lift down to the beach.The rooms are ok but not too clean for 5stars property.

Dissapointing

The only positives about this hotel are the breakfast, the genuine kindness of the staff, and perhaps the spacious parking area, beyond that, there’s nothing worth mentioning.

This hotel is nowhere near a 5-star standard. It may have been one back in the 80s, but today it wouldn’t deserve more than 3 stars. The pictures are heavily photoshopped and do not reflect reality. The facilities are terrible, the rooms are outdated, and the swimming pool is filled with seawater mixed with chlorine, which left my eyes burning and unable to open for nearly 20 minutes after just a brief dive. A truly disappointing experience, never again!!!

I ate some salmon n rice with prawns at buffet and was unwell for rest of my stay with food poisoning .I didn't complain as what would have made a difference! Food poisoning has to do it's course I just had to drink lots and I ate very little after the week was over I was still suffering back home for a 2nd week .I've never been sick abroad ever .I realize buffets can't regulate to the required temperatures which are important to keep bacteria from occurring. Normally I'd not eat a buffet but the breakfast buffet was so good I thought id try evening meal we only ate the one night from buffet

Wonderful wish we had longer

I loved the dining experiences, the room, the view, the balcony, the staff, the beech. Everyone we met had said that they had been coming to the hotel for years. One guest had said have you stayed before and I had said it was my first time at this hotel they replied by this is their 12th time. They had a teenager and an early twenties daughter and they were talking about booking for 2026. This will be our first choice stay for 2026 as well loved it..

We could have definitely benefitted with an additional shower we had a grand suite. I wasn't prepared for just having 1.5 bathrooms we needed two bathrooms for a two bedroom suite.

Quality time spent at the hotel

Large property, enough space for spend time on the bars, pool or beach. Free Towels for beach and pool, free sunbeds, good prices for food and drinks. Continental breakfast, with Prosecco 😉 We got an upgrade to a bungalow with an amazing view. The island is not so compact, can not be covered very easily, a quiet space is all you need. Five star hotel, most likely a resort. 😊😉

We like the hotel and its location but would not book a room with shared pool again

The location is very good, the hotel and gardens are very good. The breakfast buffet was good and had a nice selection of food

We have stayed 3 times, this year we booked a suite with shared pool and have previously stayed in a family suite and the bungalows. This year it was a little disappointing as there were only 2 sun loungers with our room and we are a family of 4. When I asked if more could be provided I was not given a solution and the next morning our loungers had been moved to a grass bank opposite the pool where we could have to walk past everyone’s private terraces to get to them and also there were not enough for the number of guests staying in the hotel. I would not pay the premium price for this type of room again as we had to use the main pool area due to lack of loungers and accessing them. There was also a dreadful smell of drains coming from our ensuite at times which could be smelled from the bedroom.

5 star of 1965

Beach was decent and the staff were doing their best with the tools they had.

Unfortunately this is not what it says on the tin. I'm not sure if hotels can keep their star rating once they get it but perhaps this was 5 star in 1965 but some time has passed. We had to move room because the air-con was non existent. We probably got the room to 23 degrees. We then moved room thanks to a very nice receptionist to a newer air-con system but still the same result. The breakfast is 3 star standard if you were in Paris or London. Its fine and does the job but 5 star is laughable. You wouldn't dream of eating in the hotel for dinner. Corfu old town is absolutely stunning and 16 euro one way by the hotel transfer company. There is a 'Corfu Palace' closer to the old town which is closed atm but I'd imagine while it's closed, this hotel is flourishing and/or Corfu in general does so well with tourism that the owners may find their occupancy rate is so high even with dodgy reviews that it's not worth their while refurbishing the hotel. If that's the case, fair enough. If they were to do it up, you'd nearly just knock the thing and rebuild. That's what's needed.

The breakfast was the best of the stay.

We had booked a room with a plunge pool. The pool looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in days, with a skim of dirt on the top of the water. The tiles around the side are falling off, so I only venture into the pool once for all of 20 seconds... the beach was a far better option

They flew the Union Jack upside down …. But rectified it once I pointed it out. Otherwise couldn’t fault it!

Terrible

The private beach is beautiful

Hotel smells damp and is a retired very old Hilton Hotel. We were given a room allegedly with a lake view , there was no lake in sight just a car park. We moved to a "sea View" room it did have a sea view but we had to look across an ugly roof to see it and we had to pay an extra 120 euro for the privilege of having it for 4 nights. Drinking water is only provided day 1 . We awoke on our first morning (saturday) to a maid walking in having knoched and walked in before we could get to the door. My husband went back to sleep and was awoken by a loud drilling noise that went on for 45 mins! The Customer guest experience lady (Evgenzia)was rude and abrupt. We asked to borrow two umbrellas for a few hours and were charged 20 euro deposit. The beach was loely but not enough sunbeds for all guests so we had guests lying on towels around us! I have made a formal complaint to the hotel and they sent some fruit and a cheap bottle of red wine. I have now made a formal complaint to booking .com. This was an experience never to be repeated.

Excellent air conditioning, comfy beds. Walk in shower, very attentive and helpful staff.

Music at the pool and at the beach- it’s a bit intrusive and unnecessary. Most people want to relax around a pool and choose their own music, or read or just chill out. Consider not having it, create a more peaceful ambiance.

Amazing!!!

The hotel was absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding — especially the older gentleman working at the bar, who truly was the life of the party. The hotel is perfectly located right by the beach, with convenient elevator access. Just next to the hotel, there’s a fantastic restaurant and a bus stop that takes you straight to the Old Town for only €1.20. We’re already planning to come back next year!

There were quite a few insects and leaves from the trees in our private pool. It’s a pity the pool wasn’t cleaned daily, but it didn’t really bother us — especially with the beach and another pool just a few steps away.

Acceptable

The view is spectacular

The airport is aside to the hotel, and because of that it was a lot of noise every all day and all night! The staff of ok, except one employee from the SPA, with was very rude and was cursing me in her language and screming without any reason and , a behavior which is not accepted in a 5 star hotel nowhere in the world ! The food was acceptable, the facilities they are for a 3-4 star hotel,need lots of improve! The manager was involved, they give us a good rate for the room, the rooms were big and confortable but the furniture seems like old. The best thing of the hotel is the view which is leaving you Breathless!
