Home from home! Lovely bathroom, very comfortable sofas and bed for much needed rest after long coastal walks. Short walk to the beach and Newquay centre and benefit from driveway.

No negatives!

The beds were really comfy and the shower is great

There are no locks on the bathroom doors as the upstairs one is broken, that we embarrassingly found out, the downstairs one is non existent, the downstairs toilet seat and upstairs toilet seats are both broken, the seal on the shower door needs cleaning or replacing as filthy, The window in the downstairs toilet is really tough to open or close. Steve did come and close it on our first day as I was concerned that it was open when we arrived as needed some extra towels that he kindly left on the hallway floor, but because the upstairs toilet seat was so bad and dangerous we all had to use the downstairs toilet and reopen the window as 2 adult couples staying and all using the downstairs toilet. The upstairs toilet is so close to the bath you cannot sit on it straight unless you are a child or short. This is obviously why it is broken. The shower screen has a missing handle, there is nothing to hold onto when getting out of the shower. Also one of the lights flickers like mad intermittently. The air vent above the cooker is so greasy and the cupboard above it. I appreciate that some of the towel rails and curtain poles have either been replaced or moved but the holes could have been filled. The smaller bedroom has no wardrobe. l messaged Steve before arriving about garden furniture as not seen in photos but is in facilities provided list. The furniture needs replacing or cleaning before guests arrive as guests are expected to clean everything before departure, The garden is so overgrown and weeds everywhere. No one has touched the garden in months. We tried to do our best to clean everything with the one J cloth provided but cannot use the same cloth to clean down everything. I am including some photos of things that need attention ie cracked chipped crockery, garden furniture, garden maintenance. We really enjoyed our week in Newquay and the lounge was really comfy just a few things need attention from your maintenance man and cleaners.
