Beautiful flat with nice lake and mountain views

Tijdens ons verblijf waren er een bouwplaats beneden ons appartement en dat gaf lawaai. Aan de andere kant was het wel leuk om ernaar te kijken.

“Some places don’t just host you… they embrace you.” This was not just a property… it truly felt like a home away from home. Every single detail in the apartment reflected thoughtfulness and care. Everything I needed was already there… and even things I didn’t expect had been beautifully arranged. It was as if the host had anticipated not just requirements… but emotions. The owner must be a wonderful human being—deeply sensitive to the needs of a traveller. That goodness clearly reflects in the way the entire space has been created and maintained. What touched me most was a strange but beautiful feeling… I did not feel like using anything unnecessarily… Instead, I felt a sense of responsibility to keep the place clean and well maintained—because such spaces are rare, and such hosts even rarer. In a world where stays are often transactional… this one felt personal, warm, and meaningful. May God bless the host with continued abundance… because they are not just offering a place to stay… they are creating an experience of care and trust.

Beautiful view but interrupted by train tracks and occasional passing of trains but I must add it did not make any difference to my enjoyment of the view and the noise of trains passing did not disturb perhaps due to design of the apartment.

The view is amazing, and only a brief walk to the lake with a fresh bakery and easy access (10m walk) to the Mount Rigi gondola. Fondue and quick food options are nearby - as a young family what more can you wish for? Make sure to ask for the Lucerne Visitor Pass - amazing value with discounts and access to local transport options.

Beware the accommodation is compact with a small bathroom - as a family beware that sleeping on a fold out couch is required for either kids or parents (clearly stated by the host - so we were informed)
