Liverpool Strawberry House Near Sefton Park

Location was great

Could do with a fresh coat of paint

Ideal for a family with having 3 bedrooms, kitchen dining room, lounge and bath/shower

Good value for money nice spacious house giving the feel of home away from home. Felt very safe and secure, comfortable sofa and beds. liked the old furniture, book cases and paintings. crocker inspired us to have a nice afternoon tea and cakes indoors.

The steamer did the trick for t-shirts but would have liked a proper iron. sealant round the bath could do with a refresh.

The property is very were situated, close to Sefton park and the vibrant Lark lane area, with easy access to central Liverpool. The houseplants are well tended and very much in keeping with the furniture and general feel of the house.

The property is very tired, bearing little resemblance to the photos on the website. Both fireplaces have been removed and replaced with unfinished hardboard making the living space look like it’s in the early stages of a refurbishment. The kitchen tap constantly dripped and both wall unit doors were hanging off, bottom shelf in the fridge was broken and couldn’t safely hold anything heavy. Door locks upstairs were missing, walls poorly repaired and a washing machine behind a privacy screen in the front bedroom. Beds were generally rickety. Most carpets, rugs and settee were stained, also seal round the bath very mouldy overall leading to dirty, unkempt feel. There were no instructions for anything, took us a while to work out how to switch on the power to the oven.
