Cozy villa in Chiangmai old town

Great location, lovely property, feels very homely. Everything you need in a property. Lovely food next door, very friendly neighbors. Would highly recommend.

Location was great, very close to the airport and within the old city walls. Washing machine was really nice to have. There was enough physical space for 4 people without crowding one another. We appreciated the host letting us drop our bags at 1130, before check-in.

The layout of the space wasn't comfortable for a 5-night stay. There wasn't enough comfortable seating. We were a group of 4 but the sofa only seated 2. There was an additional bean bag chair, but only 1. The projector TV meant that if you wanted to watch TV in the day, all the shutters had to be closed and even then it was still too bright to get a good view of the projected image. Between the projector screen and the projector was one of the beds - since there wasn't enough seating, 1 of us had to sit on the bed and therefore block some of the projection. The upstairs part was pretty bare bones. The historic timber floors and walls were beautiful but no sound insulation between, so all noise from downstairs and outside went straight through. The dining area was in a space with half walls (half the wall was open to the outside), which meant mosquitoes. We didn't end up using the dining area and so had to sit on the 2-seater sofa and eat on the 1-person folding table. Overall it wasn't very comfortable to spend evenings in.
