A ideal location for easy access to York, relaxing and peaceful, and the staff were friendly and helpful .The lodge was clean and spacious. The hot tub was warm and maintained its temperature throughout use.
WiFi kept dipping in and out. The en-suite shower was temperamental, and the main bathroom would benefit from a proper shower. Despite the lodge sleeping 6 the hot tub was not big enough for 6 people . The decking area could do with a tidy up and some nicer outside furniture to sit and enjoy the tranquility

Lovely and quiet at the lodge and around the lake, close to local amenities. Friendly owners/ staff. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

The location and views were stunning. There was privacy and it was spacious enough for all the group.
It would have been beneficial to have a full sized shower in the main bathroom - we ended up not using that one but it would have been good if we could have.
