About this lodge
Our Bothy Bunkhouses enable guests to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of Tarset Tor in a private setting. The Bothies feature an open-plan living space with efficient biomass pellet stoves, a kitchen, living/dining area that is a great sized social space. Each Bothy has flexible accommodation for 8 people in two bedrooms with en-suite showers on the mezzanine level and a ground floor toilet. A veranda affords stunning vistas that extend to the North Tyne Valley & Scottish Border.

Each Bothy has a unique view of the surrounding area from a marvelous viewpoint on top of a hill.
Guest access
Guest can rest assured that the property will be open and ready for them upon arrival. We live in a farmhouse adjoining the Tarset Tor business. Rob or Claire are usually around to answer any query's/questions you may have, If not they won;t be far away and can be contacted by e-mail or phone 24 hours a day.

If we are not going to be contactable then we will let you know and provide you with a contact mobile number to reach us on.

The location was amazing, the bunk house was lovely and clean. It had everything that you needed. There were only 2 issues that we had as a group of mixed age ranges. The stairs were very steep and we had to help a member down due to mobility problems. The toilet being downstair in the living/dinning area, very little privacy and it was a bit of a nightmare when you went in the middle of the night because of the stairs. But that is more a us problem as we should of checked that out properly.Overall the place is fab.
