attention to detail was amazing, a homemade chocolate brownie greeted us after a long day’s walk! The hosts were very friendly and so many thoughtful touches including a guest lounge, fresh fruit, choice of different teas and coffee available in the room

Perfect hosts. Very friendly and an helpful. Breakfast was first class. We had breakfast a round a large table and we were able to chat to the other guests. When we arrived back to Old School House after a day out there was a home baked cake made by Ian , fresh water and milk in a little jug in the fridge. Kate also did a wash for us before we moved on to our next destination. Perfect !

Not one thing

From the moment I checked in with a lovely warm welcome and the smell of freshly baked cakes I fell in love with this wonderful unique old school conversion. The breakfast is by far the tastiest around and so accommodating with lots of lovely choices and fruit and fresh cakes baked by Ian provided daily. Lovely touches like the mini fridge but also a bigger shared fridge. The bathroom and toiletries, room sensory all fabulous touches and own TV in the room. Lots of tea coffee choices oh I could go on forever about The Old School house. Kate & Ian really go all out to connect and introduce guests and 3 of us relaxed over a bottle or 2 after a long walking day.

I can't think of a single thing except.... That I couldn't stay any longer and didn't get to say goodbye.
