It was lovely & quiet with great views across the lake. It was lovely to hear all the birds. Friendly staff . The lodge was spotlessly clean & comfortable.

Location was fabulous, and the Lodge very clean and comfortable. We were lucky with the weather on arrival so able to enjoy the hot tub. The park and ride bus stop at Tesco was a 10-12min walk, or 4min drive, which was perfect t for our days out in York City. I'd stay again.
Only a small thing that the shower wasn't very good, as in not powerful enough for washing my hair. WiFi was sporadic.

The location was stunning, we loved the walk around the lake, it was a very calm space & the hot tub added that bit extra for us in terms of relaxation. The lodge itself had good facilities, with a nice clean kitchen & bathroom
The shower unfortunately didn’t work, we did inform them while we were there though so it could be looked at prior to the next guest arriving, the only other point would be for them to check the WiFi code as it didn’t work for us staying in lodge number 4, it wasn’t a major issue as we just used our data, but again just to note for any future guests

I liked everything, other than the shower pressure but that’s just a lodge!
