Lovely stay at Penny Steps, great location, staff friendly and accomodating, good breakfast, easy accessable parking. Bed very comfortable, plenty of storage.

Decor a little outdated, bathroom very small, only 1 coaster in room.

Very good mattress and pillows.

In need of a full update . En-suite is dated and tired, as are the general decorations throughout. Main kitchen needs renewing . Front lounge / dining area need tidying and made to feel more homely . Empty boxes left around - looks uncared for. Cheap and cheerful expression springs to mind . But to compete with nearby properties it needs a refurb .
