Fantastic location, and fantastic service. Jerome checked in on me everyday to see if everything was ok and if I needed anything. Cleaners unexpectedly came every 3rd day, felt well looked after. Lovely quaint building, top floor so quiet. I slept well didnt hear anything through the night.

The property is quaint, it’s in need of a refresh, the power points are an issue, we struggled to find ones that worked.. I had to Blowdry my hair in the kitchen with no mirror… very old power points that don’t fit a lot of adapters. One of the toilets didn’t flush. Shower was ancient and not strong flow so i waited to wash my hair at next destination because it would not have been possible here.

An absolutely lovely apartment in the heart of Milano. Quiet, clean, spacious and cozy at the same time, perfect location - 2 minutes from the metro station and Castello Sforzesco, at a walking distance from Duomo. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, washing machine, two balconies with a view. Perfect even for a longer stay (sadly we only had 2,5 days).

Not a minus for me (on the contrary), but might be important for someone. There is an elevator, but the apartment is in the attic, and you have to walk the last stairway.

Amazing and secure location, ticks every box!

The property is in a great location within Milan, with the Brera district right on your doorstep. The castle and the park is also within walking distance too, as well as a metro stop. The host is excellent and maintains contact with you throughout to ease any concerns you may or not have. The property feels very secure and it was very spacious for 2 guests, the bedroom was fantastic. Overall a very nice stay and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a property in Milan!

Very happy experience

1. The service was excellent — the instructions to get there were very clear, and the staff were very friendly. 2. The location is great, with the Metro just one minute away and both train stations to MXP airport very close by. 3. The room was very clean, cozy, and comfortable. It was quiet, and the two shower rooms were very convenient for friends traveling together. Definitely will come back if comes to Milan

It was a nice, cute little apartment enough for 2 pax. Absolutely clean n closer to the metro line just a minute walk away. Very lively street below where you can enjoy a glass of wine. Most important the host was so so helpful that we didn’t have any problems. He was very polite n respectful. We recommend it to all 100%😊

Ok thanks to location but not what I was expecting.

The location of the apartment was perfect and the host was very responsive. Also, the apartment is very spacious. Milano Retreats manages many apartments and they are very professional. However, this apartment did not meet expectations, and the photos shown appear to be heavily edited.

The standard of the apartment does not at all correspond to the photos. On the photos, the apartment looks brand new with a fresh white bathroom and a nicely decorated living room. The reality is that the bathroom was grey and it is definitely not new. The mattress on the bed was of very poor quality, so I could feel the springs. Luckily, the host swiftly changed it on the second day of my stay. The sofa in the living room is a dark blue sofa that is very uncomfortable to sit on as it does not close properly and also the air conditioner was old and very noisy. Furthermore, if you have a lot of luggage its not an ideal apartment. There is an elevator but you still have two set of stais to go up and down.

Exceptionally good stay at a very vibrant neighborhood

We had pleasure to stay at Milan Retreats Brera with my family and two children (4&1) for two nights during our last stop in Italy trip. The apartment was really nice and met all our expectations. The staff was also super helpful and their hospitality was exceptional. They communicated very proactively and asked us how we’re doing etc. The area where the apartment is located is really nice, lots of cool shops, restaurants, bars, and cafes around. It’s way more pleasant part of Milan than the major tourist spots near duomo. If you are arriving by train I would suggest using Milan Garibaldi station instead of Milan Central since Garibaldi is considerably closer to the apartment. We found this out later during our stay and did actually arrive at Milan Central where we took a tram to the place and had to walk about 500m which is not bad either. The metro stop Moscova was not in operation as per July 2025 because some reconstruction work taking place there, but busses and trams worked very well. All in all very pleasant stay in a very nice apartment and very friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommended! They also have feee luggage storage near Duomo if needed before check-in or after check-out, the storage operates from 9am to 6pm daily.

Great location, lovely spacious apartment but problems (stairs, 1.5 baths not 2, lighting, shower)

The location is perfect, very near the castle in Brera, and walking distance to the major tourist sites. The apartment was very spacious and nicely decorated with a large kitchen, dining room, living room and two bedrooms. It is in an old building and very charming with a couple of tiny terraces. Very comfortable! But the apartment is on the 6th floor and the elevator only goes to the 5th floor. The Milan Retreats staff person carried our bags up the flight of stairs since we are seniors and were relying on the elevator. Then they sent someone to carry the bags downstairs when we checked out and called us a cab.

The apartment is not totally accessible, it's on the 6th floor and the elevator only goes to the 5th. And it's 1.5 baths not 2 because one doesn't have a tub or shower. We had to wait 20 minutes in the sun for the Milan Suites staff person even though I texted when we arrived by train. The shower is horrible, it didn't drain so there was more than an inch of soapy water in the bottom, the light didn't work so it was dark, the hot water randomly disappeared and I had to turn off all the water and wait a little to get hot water again, the overhead spray didn't work (just the wall one) and it dripped ice cold water on me the whole time I was taking a shower. After staying there I noticed that a guest about a year before us complained about the shower not draining so they knew about this. There were not enough lights, the primary bedroom has two red bordello looking lights that don't help and the kitchen has only one light. The Milan Retreats staff were very responsive, answering my texts quickly, yet they didn't actually solve the problems. They brought in a light for the kitchen but it was one that aims light upward at the ceiling so it wasn't much help. My main complaint is about the shower, the lack of drainage was never resolved and the staff member acted like I was crazy to expect the light to work, telling me it never worked. They sent people to work on the drainage but it wasn't fixed. And then they texted me that it was now draining and they had a video to prove it---tell that to my toes covered by an inch of soapy water! After we left I got a text apologizing for the problems and giving us a 100 euro coupon for our next stay in Milan within two years. That was even more annoying since we won't be going to Milan in the next two years---a discount on our stay would have been appreciated. I wouldn't have written this if the service had been better.

Great location, exactly as the photos and exceptional communication

Location is great, the apartment is clean and exactly as per the pictures. The communication was exceptional, from before we landed in Italy, throughout our stay. There was also coffee and water which was a very nice touch. Really loved staying at this property and would definitely come again. It is right next to the Metro, less than 20 m, and the Tram station that easily connects to everywhere. Also next to the Castle and a lovely park where you can walk / run or relax.

An amazing and pleasurable stay.

Everything about this property is amazing. From the check in instructions all the way to check out, the process was seamless. The property is centrally located. A few minutes walk from one of the main Metro stations, which made it very easy for my family to get to the spots where we needed to be at. Lots of restaurants that close late. Amazing stay! We will definitely come back.

We enjoyed our apartment on via Rosales - it was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hosting team was fantastic and available by Whatsapp whenever we needed. We also liked the location - we could walk to the city center, the area was safe and nice and lots of grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Also the service for luggage storage was very helpful.

This is more to be mindful for those guests who are light sleepers - there were two internal windows that are not covered with curtains, it wasn't a big deal for us because they were dark enough but might be challenging if you need pitch black space to sleep. Also there are couple of Milan Retreat apartments in the same building so people were confused with the phone system at the entrance and we were receiving some calls in the middle of the night because they called the wrong apartment so more clear labelling might be helpful.

The unique designed place for a holiday trip.

A very large, comfy and beautifully designed apartment, located in a tenement house. The apartment is fully equipped. There is a living room with a sofa, a kitchen and 2 bathrooms downstairs . Upstairs, the second part of the apartment with 2 huge beds. Apartment is located in the centre of the city, very quiet area. Next apartment you can find restaurants and tramp stop. I highly recommend this place.
