(It’s also conveniently located for access to tourist attractions such as Kinkaku-ji Temple, Arashiyama, Toei Uzumasa Movie Village, Fushimi Inari Shrine, Gion, Nishiki Market, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Shijo Kawaramachi, Pontocho, the Kyoto Railway Museum, and the Kyoto Aquarium.)
Located just one stop west of Kyoto Station—offering excellent transportation access—the area still boasts a quiet environment. Near the inn, you’ll find several supermarkets, including some that are open 24 hours, as well as a variety of restaurants such as yakitori spots, sushi restaurants, ramen shops, Chinese restaurants, izakayas, yakiniku, and okonomiyaki, among other options. There’s even a shop open from 6:30 a.m. where you can enjoy sandwiches and bread with coffee or sodas. There’s also a nearby shop selling delicious white bread—I highly recommend it. Furthermore, nearby Yoshinoya, Nakau, and Sukiya branches are open 24 hours a day, so you can eat there at any time—morning, noon, or night. (Breakfast sets are available from early morning until 11:00.) There are also coffee shops nearby for your enjoyment.
