Two of the bedrooms had not been remodeled and it was very hard to keep a comfortable temperature with the electric heaters in those rooms. Also one of the beds was extremely uncomfortable and old. The rest of the house was amazing! Beach access and the view from the house couldn’t have been better!

Outstanding ocean view. Short walk to the beach, makes it great for the kids and adults! The fenced in area made for a wonderful play place for the young ones with a full view from the balcony above. Huge kitchen made cooking easy. Spacious dining table great for meals and games. Well stocked with dishes and utensils. During our stay when I texted questions, Sam promptly responded. Furnishings in the upstairs great room are nearing end of life. Furnishings in the original wing of the house could use an update. We really enjoyed our family vacation!

This house was the oddest mishmash lodging I’ve ever been in. It looks like a very old rundown cabin with a beautiful addition added to it. Two of the bedrooms literally were plywood and cinderblock walls and were freezing even with the heater. The stairs into the house had zero railing or banister to hold onto. Very unsafe.However, the new addition was beautiful. Big kitchen lots of seating to die for windows and view out to the Pacific Ocean. That was wonderful. But moving through the house was very strange. And bathroom number three? Way down in the bowels of the house, down the stairs with no bannister with no lighting and hardly any heat. We were unable to enter the house as instructed through the keypad so we had to wander around the back of the house and find another keypad. The Meredith lodging customer service reps were very friendly and helpful, but seemed a bit confused about the keypads as well. There was no hand soap so we had to buy our own But plenty of dish soap and towels and other amenities. we did lose power off and on throughout the weekend, but that’s not anyone’s fault… We did go to the beach in December but the appliances in the kitchen are all very newfangled with motion sensor activation so half the time the older people in our crowd could not figure out how to turn on the fan over the stove or the sink even. And the Keurig machine seem to be broken and leaked all over. There was another coffee pot though, so we were happy.Overall OK
