The gorgeous upper-level great room has a soaring, golden beam-and-plank vaulted ceiling with a double set of windows for ocean views through beautiful shore pines. Lots of comfy seating, a wall-mounted TV, a wood stove, and access to the deck make this room extra inviting. A large dining table and extra seats at the breakfast bar mean you can accommodate all your guests for meals together. The kitchen has lots of updated counter space, so there’s no excuse not to have helpers with meal prep. One queen bedroom on this level has access to the deck; another has its own bath; the third has an extra twin bunk, perfect for a family to stay together.

It was perfect for our large group. We had everything we needed and plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. For that I give the experience a 5* review. Location so nice next to the beach. Loved sitting on the deck for morning coffee. I would have appreciated bush trimming for the ocean view... We experienced rain and fog but the deck provided shelter and comfort. -1 star because of the view obstruction.

We enjoyed the two floors for our family reunion. It was great to have two kitchens, two family rooms and enough bedrooms for each family members. The two minute walk to the beach was great. It felt like we had a private beach area. We loved waving to the train that came by during the day. A great place for our time together.

This property was a God-send! This was a family reunion for 13 (7 adults and 6 kids under 9) and 2 dogs for 10 days at the beach and I thought for sure it was ruined when we got news that the initial property we had reserved was taken off the market at the last minute. The initial properties offered in exchange were not acceptable and I was in despair when this property was made available. It was perfect! On 2 separate basically identical levels, it was ideal for our family - Kids and grandkids upstairs, grandparents, single adult and dogs downstairs (allowing for a little peace and quiet when the old folks needed it.) It was an absolutely beautiful location, easy walking access to the beach, nice back yard for the dogs. (We brought our own portable fencing). Lots of room for everyone, comfortable, and clean. It was wonderful! Everyone loved it and hopefully we'll be back soon!

On the plus side, the living arrangement worked out perfectly for the family as it allowed us to keep separate the small children from the dog they somewhat fear. The house sits a short walk to the beach, which was very nice, and one has a view of the ocean from the house. The open main living layout was great and felt roomy. The children did like it when they heard the train whistle several times a day and were able to see the train go by in front of the house. Inside, it was not as loud as one would expect for how close it is.For minuses, this house is very outdated, the refrigerator is very cheap where the drawers don’t connect to anything, there is no garbage disposal, only two of the four burners on the stove function, and it was not as clean as one would expect as there were multiple areas with cobwebs, including the shower. The toilet in the upstairs primary bath initially wouldn’t flush and we needed to fix that issue, which we did.Overall, I give this home three stars.
