Not only does it boast living space on both floors, but it also has separate entrances for each floor, two ocean-view decks, and bedrooms and baths on each floor. But don’t worry both floors have living spaces large enough to get the whole gang, whether that’s family or friends, together for enjoying your time at the beach!
The gorgeous upper-level great room has a soaring, golden beam-and-plank vaulted ceiling with a double set of windows for ocean views through beautiful shore pines. Lots of comfy seating, a wall-mounted TV, a wood stove, and access to the deck make this room extra inviting. A large dining table and extra seats at the breakfast bar mean you can accommodate all your guests for meals together. The kitchen has lots of updated counter space, so there’s no excuse not to have helpers with meal prep. One queen bedroom on this level has access to the deck; another has its own bath; the third has an extra twin bunk, perfect for a family to stay together.
The lower level has its own living space, a big open room with a wall of windows to the sea, a TV, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. Supplemented by three bedrooms, one with its own bath and one with its own deck, this floor has all a family needs for a completely separate living space. A patio out the back door has a picnic table, and a path through beach grass will take you to the surf in minutes. You’ll find miles of level sand, views of Twin Rocks, and plenty of sea and sand. This was excellent space for a family reunion. We had 14 people in three generations. There was space for all to gather and take a break when needed. We struggled with our given access code when we arrived, and the helpful response was immediate. We gained access! I had not understood this was two stories and the entrance to the upper story is from the outside. But that worked, we just put the more mobile people up the stairs. TheBack porch allowed us to sit comfortably and watch the Littles play in the sandy back area. This address is within walking to a couple fun businesses too. We will be back I am sure.

We loved our stay at this house! My extended family and I stayed for a family vacation to one of our favorite places - the Oregon coast! The house was well equipped with towels, utensils, plates, cups and many other kitchen items. One person in our party cannot climb stairs very easily, so this house worked well for her to stay on the first level (there are three steps going into the house, but upon entry, that level does not have any other stairs). We also loved that we could walk to the beach from the house and even had a couple of campfires on the beach - a bucket list item for a few. Finally, having laundry units on both floors was very useful. Thank you for a great stay!

Overall, we had an excellent stay and vacation. Being right on the beach was priceless, and the home is quite spacious and easily hosted our large family. The house was as described, clean, fully functional and well supplied kitchen. We were able to walk into town for ice cream, food, and to the train station to ride from Rockaway Beach to Garibaldi. We had some trouble checking in, and with WiFi, as we were initially provided the incorrect door codes and password, but luckily communication with the host was quick and easy and we were able to sort it out without much issue or delay. I will say the furniture could use updating. Several of the recliners are lop-sided, old, and/or outright broken (mainly downstairs).Important notes:1. The upstairs and downstairs are not connected. You must exit the house to go upstairs/downstairs, although we did not find this to be an issue at all. 2. There are check-out instructions, but only on the base/ground floor! We were a bit late checking out as most of our stay was spent upstairs, but when we were performing our final sweep, we noticed the check-out instructions on the ground floor and had to do a few last minute things (i.e. strip sheets, take out trash, etc).Highly recommend staying here though! Great value! We will come again for sure if/when it's available.

Excellent location. Great view. Bathrooms were moldy. Kitchens were huge but didn't have adequate cooking supplies. Could have been cleaner.
