I’m a little torn on this review. Overall the house was nice and pretty much what we expected. It was right on the beach, but there were several things that I was disappointed in and you would not expect from a property that cost that much a night.First, and they don’t show you is that although it is by the beach, there is a tall rock wall between the house and the beach. It was fine for us, but there are 10 or so pretty rugged steps to go up and down to get to the beach. If someone was an elderly person or handicapped, I don’t think that they would be able to do it.We were disappointed in the cleanliness of the inside of the house. Most of it was OK, but the rug in the living room was all nasty with hair and everything on it and it had obviously not been vacuumed. The dishes were all dirty and had food on them and the silverware. Even some of the pans had to be washed before we could use them. The screens in both of the kitchen windows were completely torn out. Also, one of the toilet seats was completely broken. You could just lift it off the toilet so it was not usable. There was other stuff like all the fans in the bathroom had just nasty stuff hanging on them and the ceiling fan was nasty. I do realize it’s the beach house and I get that there’s gonna be some sand and stuff but for that price I would think they would do a better job of cleaning it.All in all, we had a great time and the house other than not being clean and stuff broke was as advertised.

We had 12 in our group. Everyone had a bedroom AND bathroom. Plenty of room!! The view, the hot tubs, beach access was wonderful. Had some maintenance issues with kitchen cabinet doors about to fall off. Some doors downstairs were hard to close.Dining room light did not work. But it did not stop us from enjoying our stay!!

The location was killer!! Amazing views and very quiet beach which was great for us and the low key relaxing vibe we were going for. Odd layout between the two duplexes but worked for us. A bit annoyed by the getting into the house as the locks were not easy to use nor clear easy instructions given, plus the reviews dating back to 2024 shared the same frustration, why has it not been fixed? Beach front homes I know are harder to manage but the screen doors were also hard to open and close. Overall a good experience and would go back assuming door and ability to access home would be easier. Would only rent both units not have another group in the other half. Also odd to not be able to access the back of the house without going through a bedroom or exiting the front to get to the back. Again, nit picky items.

The owner(s) need to spend a week in the house and fix all the broken things. The house itself if fine and the location and footprint are exceptional. There are too many things that don't work. Also, we were not afforded anything in exchange for many inconveniences and disappointments. The front lock is frozen and takes way too much effort, assuming you ever get inside. Prior reviews ignored. Dishwasher, heater and other stuff broken. Late check-out not available. All take and no give. Great view, bad taste in my mouth.
