We came to visit family, friends and the beauty of the area. This is a perfect apartment for its large and relaxing space and I only wish our boys could have made this trip and we felt at home. The property is centrally located to all destination points either by walking, bike or car. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the balcony. Staying at the Kleisl house gives you privacy, but also the comfort of staying with this wonderful family. We look forward to another visit and will definitely stay again.

The property is a short walk from a local bus stop, which made it easy to get to and from the railway station, as well as the main shopping district. The property is also not far from Old Partenkirchen, which was wonderful to explore. The apartment is spacious and comfortable, and centrally heated. We would be happy to stay at this property again if we were to visit Garmisch-Partenkirchen in the future.

A beautiful vista from the front deck of the Zugspitze, a postcard view from the back bedroom window of the pilgrimage church of St. Anton which sits on the Philosopher's Walk, close to Partenkirchen's pedestrian zone replete with dozens of restaurants, a fifteen minute walk to downtown Garmish, and a wonderful view from kitchen windows of the Garmisch elementary school from which we watched the ritual celebration of new kindergarteners, evening karate lessons, and adult ballroom dance lessons. Great rental, great location (close to a laundry as well as to a quality bike rental shop with ebikes galore), great landowners (Opa is a former ski jumper!). Highly recommended
