Comfortable, good value and welcoming.

Very nice, clean, comfortable. The hosts were very accomodating and responsive to our needs especially when we arrived late to check in. Recommended.

Kind and friendly couple You can swim in the lake Comfortable and clean

Out of the Lucerne area, you won’t get the Lucerne public transport guest card, and it’s too far to walk to the city center. Therefore, the cost of public transport to the city always adds up to the costs. Makes more sense for people with car. The only sink to wash the dirty dishes is in the bathroom and no kitchen facilities except the fridge and few cups/plates and cutleries Make sure you have some cash in case you want to use coffee capsules or pay the city tax (for city tax, you can use PayPal as alternative)

Exceptional!!!

We have had wonderful Airbnb hosts before but now Pirmin and Scarlet are on the top of our list. From the time they greeted us until the time we left, we were captivated by their goodness and their generous spirit. Our time together put an exclamation point on the start of our trip to Europe. It will be hard to top our experience with them. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and ensure that we had everything we needed.

Location is well considering we are self drive. Host is really friendly and nice. Studio is spacious and almost everything you need for a short stay is include. Great choice for tourist visiting around Lucerne area.

Relaxing and rejuvenating stay at a very charming and ultra convenient location!

Terrific stay at an amazing apartment in lovely Luzern! The Studio, which looks absolutely charming inside, is located very conveniently to a bus stop for a quick ride to the train station downtown. (Bonus: There is a great Coop grocery store at the train station, so it is also convenient to get food, water, and snacks daily. There are a few good restaurants for a variety of takeaway meal, too.) Although we came during the busy summer tourist season, all we heard are birds in this quiet neighborhood - it is very peaceful and rejuvenating to stay here. The host couple, who were gracious to meet with us during check-in, were very upbeat, friendly, and informative. The information guide they provided was comprehensive and useful; had good recommendations for places to eat. Nice touches such as detailed directions to use Netflix on the big screen TV, availability for clothes washing, a clean refrigerator, and strong Wi-Fi (these are not always a given…). They even directed us to a nearby area where we could enjoy a small private part of the lake. Highly recommend this as a base for day trips and adventures in Luzern!

Exceptional stay

Everything about this property is perfect. The location, 2 minutes away from a bus stop (10 minutes to Luzern central station). The stay itself js very comfortable with all the required amenities. Above all, the hosts Pirmin and Scarlet are available via a text message and very accommodating and helpful to any other requests that we had which were not listed in the booking (like laundry / dryer). There offered us some breakfast on the day of checkout too. I would certainly stay here again and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in a peaceful locale in Luzern.

Home away from home

Gorgeous spacious apartment. We were warmly greeted by the generous hosts who happily provided a lot of information and assistance. Staying here felt like home away from home. It was peaceful and perfect for us. We easily navigated the bus to Lucern, and enjoyed a few meals at an Italian restaurant which was within walking distance. If we return to Lucern we’d love to stay at Studio am Vierwaldstättersee again.

Clean Cosy And Vibrant

Clean, cosy and a very vibrant apartment in a quiet neighbourhood. A perfect location just a 2 minute walk to the bus stop. The hosts were very sweet and helping. The bed was very cosy and comfortable. Had an amazing stay. Would highly recommend it. Thank you Scarlet and Pirmin for everything.

It’s a wonderful place

The room is very cozy and comfortable. Just 3 minutes walking from station of bus 21. The lakeside can be reached easily by walking. Scarlet and Pirmin are really nice.

Great Place with Amazing Hosts.

The location is 2 minute walk from bus stop to Luzern train station or a bus halte to Mount Pilatus. The room is freshly furnished to give you a homey feeling. Scarlet and Pirmin are good hosts. They lent us 2 umbrellas which came in handy during rainy days. Try to get a one day bus ticket for swiss franc 8.20. It is very convenient to travel with that ticket. We personally recommend this place to stay in a outskirt of Luzern, yet is only a few bus stops from downtown Luzern.

Everything was great. Suggestion : Maybe the hosts can add a third pillow for someone who likes a thick pillow. The pillows provided were a bit too thin. But of course this is a personal taste.

Excellent get away by the lake in lovingly decorated studio

The location is excellent, quiet and bus stop is very close. Scarlet was very quick and lovely in responding every time and the Studio looked exactly like in the pictures. Two separate duvets and a comfy bed meant we also had really good nights sleep.

The internet connection was too slow to watch a film one evening but we were so tired, it didn't really matter.

Es gibt nur eine ganz kleine Küchenzeile mit einem Wasserkocher und einer Kaffeemaschine Eine kleine Kochplatte und einen Lappen/Abwaschutensilien, um einfache, warme Speisen zuzubereiten, wären sehr toll gewesen

Nette Wohnung mit freundlichen Gastgebern mit guter Busanbindung von Luzern

Die Gastgeber Scarlet und Pirmin waren außerordentlich gastfreundlich und bemüht, jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Das Studio ist nett eingerichtet. Die Bettqualität ist sehr gut. Die Lage ist gut, in ca. 100 m. Entfernung ist die Bushaltestelle, durch die man in 10 Min. den Bahnhof Luzern im Zentrum erreicht. Das Zimmer und das Bad/WC waren sauber.

Durch unseren Fehler waren wir fälschlicherweise davon ausgegangen, dass das Studio auch Kochmöglichkeiten bietet, was leider nicht der Fall war. Zum Spülen des Frühstücks- oder Abend-Geschirrs musste das Waschbecken im Bad genutzt werden. Obwohl pro Tag und Person eine Übernachtungsabgabe von 4 CHF zu entrichten ist, stellt die Gemeinde Horw keine Gästekarten aus, so dass damit z.B. die Nutzung des Busverkehrs nach Luzern kostenfrei oder verbilligt wäre. Ärgerlich!

Sehr netter Empfang, tolle Lage alles sauber. Man bekommt von den Gastgeber sehr gute Empfehlungen für Ausflüge und Restaurants sie sind sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und hilfsbereit

Maravilhosa, voltaria com certeza!

O studio é impecável. Muito aconchegante e limpo. O casal (Scarlet e Pirmin) é extremamente atencioso e prestativo. Os pequenos pontos negativos não interferiram em nada na minha opinião de que foi excepcional a estadia.

Não tem ar condicionado, e costumo sentir um pouco de calor à noite. Um ventilador já resolveria! Outra questão é que a taxa de visitante precisa ser paga em espécie, e estávamos somente com cartão. Mas o casal nos ajudou e fizemos o pagamento via PayPal - porém fiquei sem saber se deu certo o pagamento, pois pedi a eles que me confirmassem, e nunca recebi a confirmação…

Super verblijf in Luzern

Comfortabele studio op een fijne, rustige plek in Luzern. Bushalte om de hoek, centrum en station snel bereikbaar. Alles wat we nodig hadden was aanwezig. Heerlijke week gehad met trips naar de bergen in de omgeving, via een Tell-pas (aanrader), en dan was het 's avonds goed thuiskomen!
