Compact apartment with limited space utilised well. Ideal for three people. Nice to have the complimentary items too. The quiet location was much appreciated.
Just having one key available was quite inconvenient. The broadband was woefully bad. A speedy connection is essential when browsing and booking shows. In the single room, there was nowhere for me to put my watch, glasses, phone and glass of water overnight. A wall-mounted lamp could be a solution. A small shelf in the shower would have been useful too.

Location is great and the apartment is clean and comfortable. Milk, bread, orange juice, etc. are complimentary. Host is extremely helpful. After I checked out Bob took the trouble to return to me a charging cable I forgetfully left behind. 🙏
We had to carry our luggage up several flight of stairs because there is no lift. But I assume that’s common in Edinburgh.

The Cosy Courtyard was off of a busier street - which meant it's near small stores and restaurants. A supermarket is just up the road, which made eating in easy, too. The apartment is part of a QUIET neighborhood. You'd never know a busy street was just outside the door!
The absolutely only thing that was tricky: the height of the windows meant the cords to turn the blinds open and shut were hard to reach.

Excellent location for exploring Old Town and New town. Lots of lovely places to eat and drink nearby. Paid for parking available within 10 minutes walk.
Accommodation was clean and tidy. Property was well equipped with everything we needed. Bob the owner was on hand if required.
The city was amazing. We arrived by train and a brisk 30 minute walk and we were at the accomodation where we were met by Bob.
Spoilt for choice for eating out in the surrounding area. Perfectly placed as a jump off point for the city center. Small Tesco at the top of the road provided all we required. A 10 minute stroll and you are at the castle. 30 minutes and you are in the center of Edinburgh.
