The Cosy Courtyard was off of a busier street - which meant it's near small stores and restaurants. A supermarket is just up the road, which made eating in easy, too. The apartment is part of a QUIET neighborhood. You'd never know a busy street was just outside the door!
The absolutely only thing that was tricky: the height of the windows meant the cords to turn the blinds open and shut were hard to reach.

The apartment was walking distance to everything. The owner met us and explained the area. He also stocked our fridge for breakfast.

Excellent location for exploring Old Town and New town. Lots of lovely places to eat and drink nearby. Paid for parking available within 10 minutes walk. Accommodation was clean and tidy. Property was well equipped with everything we needed. Bob the owner was on hand if required.
The city was amazing. We arrived by train and a brisk 30 minute walk and we were at the accomodation where we were met by Bob. Spoilt for choice for eating out in the surrounding area. Perfectly placed as a jump off point for the city center. Small Tesco at the top of the road provided all we required. A 10 minute stroll and you are at the castle. 30 minutes and you are in the center of Edinburgh.
