Modern, stylish, roomy accommodation, close to the lake, and with a bar & restaurant close by. Good hot water,

No tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper etc. The mattress was not very comfortable on the double bed, one of the smaller towels didn't look clean, and the decking was covered in tree debris, which took a few hours to clean off. Mostly minor things

Great modern lodge in an amazing area with only short drive to activity’s.

Property was as shown in the photos online, was great having three sofas, parking spot was amazing and only a sub minute walk down to the docks.

Overall the property was clean but certain areas need a bit more attention, worktops and table tops weren’t properly clean, many hairs in the main bathroom and one in the fridge, few crumbs under the lounge coffee table. While there was a couple of small pans available it was a bit of an issue not having a decent size frying pan. This could be from the previous guests but the WiFi wouldn’t work at all until we took a look at it and reset the router which it then worked fine for watching movies on tv.

Fantastic family holiday!

Really lovely lodge! We stayed here as a family of 4 over the Easter Holidays with our 2 young children and had a fab time. The facilities both in the lodge and on the site itself were perfect for us. On site, there is a play park, entertainment, a small arcades room, a restaurant, a small shop + a swimming pool. You do need to pay to use the pool but as the weather was so nice we didn't use it. Costa coffee is also served on site! The site itself was quiet and really peaceful. We really loved the location of the lodge and there was lots to explore right on the doorstep! Ambleside is around an 8 minute drive away. We loved it so much, we're already looking to book up again next year.

The lodge wasn't perfectly clean which was a real shame. One of the hand towels had stains on it (it did smell clean though) and there was some dust/hair on the bathroom floor. We dont feel the lodge had been deep cleaned to a high standard and this could have been improved. There were also some small signs of wear on the walls but nothing paint wouldn't fix. There was no frying pan in the kitchen either which wasn't the end of the world but with a luxury lodge, you would expect the kitchen to be fully kitted out. It would have been a nice touch if a small welcome basket had been left in the kitchen too with tea, coffee & biscuits. The welcome book left in the lodge was very basic and it would have been nice to have a bit more information about the local area etc. WiFi was hit & miss but we didn't go on holiday for the Internet. But worth knowing for others who may be bothered by this. These small improvements would absolutely justify the luxury title. All in all though we had a fantastic holiday and will absolutely be booking again!

Not enough information in the lodge on how things worked.. e.g TV, oven, things to do on the site, local restaurants, taxi service Reception wasn’t very helpful on checking in, opening times of reception and facilities No frying pan in the kitchen, no tea towels Also carpet grippers ( some are sticking up through carpets. )

Our second visit. We were here 3 months ago. We simply love the lake location and beautiful surroundings. The bright and airy accommodation and contemporary facilities. The convenience to local towns and amenities. The peace and quiet.

Broken dishwasher door - it literally fell off in my hand Broken bath handle, unsafe Broken blind catch in twin bedroom Broken key safe Broken / unusable washing machine Dirty carpets Worn out mattress on double bed - could feel the springs and it is totally flat Absence of cafetière for breakfast coffee - we don’t need a complicated coffee machine Table mats required to protect the furniture Lack of cleaning materials and a spare dustbin bag which would have been most useful Poor internet connection- keeps dropping out There is a barrier to the site for which you need to obtain a combination number from the resort office. We were not informed of this with our arrival information.

Very clean and modern accommodation with new furnishings and appliances. Location was also decent with direct access to Windermere lake.

WiFi was very slow and sometimes unusable. Washing Machine did not work and wasn’t connected to water supply despite being advertised in posting. Mattress in master room was poor quality and springs were protruding making it uncomfortable. This property is on a holiday park with lots of other similar properties, we would have preferred more privacy. Other properties has BBQs and hot tubs which would have been nice additions.

Absolutely fantastic lodge. From cleanliness to convenience, every aspect was exceptional.

We had a lovely stay for 3 nights. Every aspect of the lodge was exceptional from cleanliness to convenience. We would absolutely recommend this property for a great base to explore the Lake District. We will hopefully get a chance to return again next year.

Beautiful lodge but some issues

Great location close to the lake. Appeared to be brand new. The sitting room was very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was clean and well-equipped.

Poor Wi-Fi. Uncomfortable mattress that made twanging noises throughout the night. Shower did not drain. Washing machine was not plumbed in despite our checking that there was one - which we were relying on. What’s the point of a decorative washing machine? Did contact the owner but nothing was done.

Really spacious lodge, clean and in a great location.

The beds were really uncomfortable. The holiday park itself was a little sad. The on site restaurant was really dirty and so was the pool.

The property is in a great location and was extremely comfortable. It is very well presented with contemporary furnishings and lots of space. It had everything we needed and was beautifully clean and tidy with good quality linen, towels and fixtures. Victoria was extremely helpful and friendly throughout.

I would come back again in the future and also recommend to my friends.

I am a person who is demanding on cleanliness and tidiness of my own home and hotels I stay. This accommodation didn’t disappointment me at all. It was clean when I arrived, it looks to me very new and luxury. It includes almost all facilities that you find in a proper home. Host is contactable and quick response on my questions.

Only thing is I couldn’t find a laundry rack hence I wasn’t doing laundry. It would be great to have this new facility in the future as usually it is a long stay.

Just a small criticism somewhere to stand your toiletries in the bathroom. We were concerned about the front door on arrival we noticed it wasn’t closing tight to the frame at first thought someone had tried to get in but on closer inspection realised it’s faulty.

Had a fabulous time

We really enjoyed the luxurious touches to the lodge, furnishings, facilities and as we had great weather, the outside seating area. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was great. There was an information pack available on arrival which helped with what is around and on site. The lodge was in a great location and very close to the lake, which had amazing views. Short drive from amenities and only an hour walk to other part of the lake and shops

Perfect stay for a family of 4. Beautifully modern and had everything we needed (and in a great location). Certainly earned it’s luxury title! Would 100% book this again.
