Really great place to stay in Derby

It was spacious and easy to hang out there. Three of us fit in great. Staff were very easy to access and they helped a lot. Good to have a parking space. Great strong shower:

Scam - this accomodation doesn't exist

This is a scam. The accomodation does NOT exist. They take your money and booking.com can't give you a refund unless the accomodation provider confirms the refund. Avoid! On the day of the booking they will contact you to say the accomodation has been damaged by the previous guest and offer you a refund. You are then stuck finding new accomodation whilst they take your money anyway. I have been waiting for month than a month for the refund.

Not stunning or luxurious - more of a work in progress.

The owner was very helpful and said we could check out later than usual.

Flat was hard to find. Directions were insufficient. Far from being luxurious or stunning, the flat was in a poor state of repair. Carpets were stained, wardrobe was missing a door, hotch-potch of furniture. windows were open so it was cold, towels were newly washed but not dried and had no chance to dry with the windows open. Washing up left on the drainer. The only toiletries was body scrub, no shampoo or shower gel. I would rather have taken two rooms in the Travelodge. My son stayed at Aston Court the following night which was newly decorated, had toiletries and was comfortable and impressive for £28.

Excellent

We were met and given the keys and shown how to use the codes etc. Jay was very helpful . He told us about nearby pubs and restaurants.Lidl was just 3 minutes away. Beds were extremely comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. Easy to find, parking secure.

Good location, secure parking, great host.

The location, being just outside of the city centre was easily accessible by road, bus and on foot. The host called earlier in the afternoon to confirm arrival time, and then on arrival talked through the access procedure, this being in a HMO. Parking provided was secure (controlled access gate) and the mews block itself was clean and obviously well cared for. The rooms were well appointed with one en-suite room and one smaller bedroom, both with double beds. The Main living space was spacious with a well appointed kitchen, large sofa bed, TV, full mirror etc.

The main bedroom was mid painting, with some areas still having masking tape on the walls, the en suite bathroom fan switched off and the main bedroom walls themselves showing signs of "cutting in" on the paintwork. The main bathroom also had screw holes in the wall which were unfinished. The place had a general feel of "being done up but not completed" which marred the overall vibe of the place The internet connection was a mobile router which was slower by far than my own O2 connection. This may have been because I was in the main bedroom which was diagonally opposite the router

Dirty and needs work

The space and location, staff very friendly and answered questions quickly

So unclean thick layers of dust, missing light sockets, missing smoke alarm and wires hanging bare, ashtray outside the front window, windows filthy, bathrooms dirty, very un finished and should not be called luxury. It's about passable. It needs a good cleaner and all the bits missing/hanging off paint down walls/unfinished sorting out.

There was nothing good about this property. I want and deserve a full refund.

The place was filthy. Toilets were disgusting and hadn’t been cleaned. Bathroom was moldy. Floors had dirt and hair left. Kitchen was gross and greasy.

Amazing host and property was perfect for all of us.

We had to book this accommodation very last minute (on the day) due to a cancellation and the host was amazing at making sure we had everything we needed for our stay and we really appreciated everything he did to help us in that stressful situation. The property is lovely and the host is so friendly, our entire stay was perfect. Definitely recommend and would stay again!!

A little bit tricky to locate but the host remained on the phone with us the entire time and guided us there which was amazing.

Absolutely disgraceful , Avoid !

After booking this apartment for a New Years stay over and birthday treat for my partners 89 year old Mother we were told on the eve of our stay that the apartment would not be available as the heating wasn't working. This was after several attempts to contact the owner, with no response to get our check in details As it was obviously far too late to find alternative accomodationsthe trip was ruined . The owner ould rarely amswer emails or texts or direct ohone calls. Eventually he offered a full refund, but this has not been issued and he still evades communication and we have paid for nothing! The worst customer service ever in all my life. I shall now be heading down the small claims court. Avoid at all costs !!

Not 'stunning' - fairly ordinary.

Large apartment - good sized rooms. Close to the centre of Derby. Secure off street parking.

Needs decorating. Carpets need cleaning. Bare walls in the living area - could do with some pictures. No bath mats or hand towels. On a busy road so quite a lot of noise.

I arrived at the apartment to check in to be told that it was not available. There had been no communication prior to this despite booking several months before. The host found alternative accommodation which was then dirty and not in a state where it was ready to host guests. The communication regarding a complaint following this has been none existent! This person should not be allowed to advertise properties on this site

Staying here was absolutely fantastic! The apartment was lovely, clean, and well renovated. The host was incredible and we got on very well. He offered a great service and said if I had any problems, he would take care of them. I’m very impressed with the experience and would definitely stay here again, thank you!

Amazing place well presented spacious apartment right in the city centre. Lovely selection of teas, coffee and biscuits and even fresh milk. Extremely comfortable beds and great sized rooms. Fantastic sound system with free Wi-Fi. Secure parking at the rear of the property. Would highly recommend.

I stayed in the apartment with a group of friends for the night. We had a great stay the apartment is modern, nicely decorated and clean. Walking distance into town. The host was very welcoming and friendly. Would deffo recommend staying here and I will be returning!
