The house 🏡 was clean and tidy with everything set up as you would in a hotel 🏩 settings.
Barry our host kept us informed of everything so from checking in on the first day till our checking out was very helpful indeed. The property did exceeded our expectations and the location was really quiet as well so definitely good for families and the canal walks 🚶 every morning was amazing.
We definitely will be back 💯..cheers 🥂.
Just need a bathroom 🚽 window curtain or blinds .

No breakfast as this is a self-catering facility. The property is well suited to my purposes as it is close to my daughter's house and opposite a bus stop. The host, Barry, was very responsive and fixed any problems the same day. The property was clean and serviced regularly.
The property has an enclosed garden that could be improved with suitable furniture and pot plants to provide an ideal place for sitting out or entertaining in the long warm summer evenings.

The location was excellent, very convenient. The house was a comfortable size for a weekend stay, with good sized rooms. Kitchen was lovely with all utensils and crockery we needed. Bathroom newly renovated it seemed and spotlessly clean with plenty of towels and shampoos etc provided.
The beds! They were pretty dire and I can see why we were told we didn't need to strip the beds on departure.. The twin divans were tatty with the fabric hanging off the bases, although these had mattress toppers on them. The small single bed built into the nook was the worst, I had to take the bedding and mattress protector off to fit an inflatable bumper undernearh for my little one, I haven't seen a mattress patterned like that since I was a kid in the 80s!! And it smelt very musty. It gave the ick so I moved my daughter to one of the other beds. The pillows also felt heavy and old or lumpy so I went and bought new ones in Sainsburys. My mum thought the double was comfortable enough so I didn't tell her to check the mattress! Also the telly was freeview only with no great options on channels.
