Kassiopi Central House

We arrived around 9pm in Kasiopi and were really grateful for the complimentary bottles of water, milk, ham cheese, bread and eggs. The house was a hit with all the family and really close to town ( 2 min walk to beginning of town). All rooms were nicely decorated with a modern bathroom, air-conditioning and super comfortable beds. The living area was spacious and had an extra high ceiling & mezzanine (which housed the third bedroom). What worked particularly well for our family of 5 was having twin beds in the two teenage bedrooms. Kassiopi was a lovely town and had a nice relaxed feel, not an overwhelmingly busy. Our eldest teen did however, manage to find some late opening nightlife and made some friends, so it suited us all. The food was great and we enjoyed all the restaurants that we tried. The harbour is at the bottom of the road and is just a short walk through the town. There are several pretty beaches .... The town beaches are 10 & 15 mins by foot from the harbour and a few others that are a longer 40/ 45 mins walk from the harbour. Most seemed to have carparks too. I would recommend taking reef shoes as most of the beaches are pebble beaches. The owner was very nice and lives next door, she popped over to check all was ok and the key was in the lock on our arrival.

We liked everything about the house & it suited our larger family brilliantly.... of course an extra bathroom is always desirable, but we managed just fine. The mezzanine twin bedroom is open plan, so we had to make sure the tv was quiet and lights down low- not a major issue as my girls loved the space up there so much.

The house was spacious and comfortable, it had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. It was lovely and quiet, perfect relaxed location, but only a 5 minute walk into Kassiopi and all it's loveliness! The welcome pack of supplies of food was wonderful and very much appreciated as it meant we had a lovely relaxed start to our holiday😊

Die Lage ist wunderbar. Von der Küche aus kann man aufs Meer sehen, von der Terrasse aus in einen Olivenhain, aus dem auch immer wieder Glöckchen von ein paar Schafen und Ziegen bimmelten. Den Morgenkaffee haben wir in diesem Ambiente besonders genossen! Die Strände in der Umgebung sind toll, eine kleine Bucht wurde zu unserem Lieblingsstrand. Am wunderbarsten ist jedoch die Vermieterin! Lola hat uns viele Tipps gegeben, hat immer schnell geantwortet und wir haben gespürt, dass ihr wichtig ist, dass wir eine schöne Zeit hier haben. Z.B. kamen wir (6 Personen) spät in der Nacht an, aber im Kühlschrank waren schon genügend wichtige Lebensmittel, um den ersten Tag mit einem entspannten Frühstück beginnen zu können. Danke, Lola!

In einem Schlafzimmer hat das Doppelbett nur eine Matratze und eine gute Federung. Bei Gewichtsunterschieden wie bei uns darf die leichtere Person nachts etwas „Trampolin springen.“ Wir haben jedoch schnell gelernt, trotzdem gut zu schlafen. Die beiden Einzelbetten stehen oben auf der Galerie, jedoch kann der Raum nicht sehr abgedunkelt werden. Für Frühaufsteher kein Problem, unsere Teens mussten sich dran gewöhnen. ;)

It was our first holiday as a family of 4 and it couldn't have been any better. There is a special feeling to this area and to this house. We had a very comfortable stay with everything we needed, including some bits left in the fridge for us when we arrived. The bbq area and garden in particular is brilliant.

My wife cried when we left!
