Sunny Nook January 2026

This cute little cottage is tucked away in a very quiet and pretty location. The cottage has a lovely terrace area overlooking a beautiful valley. It was very clean, comfortable and warm....I stayed in January so it was cold at night outside but this cottage was cosy. The surrounding area has lots to explore with the coast and exmoor all nearby. At night, the sky has no light pollution, and on a clear evening, the stars are simply magical with the sound of Owls hooting in the woods nearby. I stayed for one night and I would love to visit again. My little dog enjoyed the quiet and the walks.

It was perfect- clean comfy and private and very quiet / lovely as a base to explore the area

Location was quiet and beautiful- Andrea could not have been more helpful it was lovely

It is remote and you need a car to get to a shop or restaurant so take stuff with you - it’s a perfect private place but you need to prepare for that- it needs a freezer space for ice! However the host provides ice on request

Found a Little corner of Heaven. Idyllic, tranquil pace with stunning views

Loved the location of the Cottage. Secluded, tranquil setting in fab surroundings with stunning views of the countryside. Modern clean and cosy.It provided us with a really comfortable stay. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

Our only critic would be that the bed could do with updating not very comfy at all.

A little slice of heaven

Little Sunny nook ... It's Where memories are made, Bats flap amongst the glade, Moonlight glitters the hills at night casting deep shapes from the shade. Birds swoop, swirl and cascade into Valley below It's for a good night's sleep, not a wisper to be found, just the flicker of latern light all tucked up Safe and sound. "A little slice of heaven"

The only thing that I'd change is ... a little freezer in there would be perfect.

The property had every thing that we needed for our short stay.

We spent most our stay away from the property, and on our return came back to a cold house, the central heating did not seem to work at any time, thankfully we had an electric heater to use, but there is a lot of space to heat, and also the bathroom towel rail did not work.
