There was ample parking, quiet and serene environment. It was neat and well looked after. We had the appliances we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable
I would have wished for the shower to have been more enclosed to avoid splashing outside the shower space.

Gets all the basics right. The flat was very clean, secure, and well maintained. The wifi was fast and reliable, and the flat had everything we needed for a weekend stay. Instructions on how to use the heating were very clear.
The surrounding residential area is very peaceful, and it's a very short walk to local shops and a bus stop. A walk to the promenade area takes around 30-40 minutes. It'd be a very good base from which to explore the surrounding area.
The host was exactly the right level of attentive, available to help but not in any way overbearing, and off-street parking is always a plus!
The mattresses could have been comfier. Didn't effect our sleep, but they felt as though they'll need to be replaced fairly soon. Blackout blinds or curtains in the bedrooms would have been appreciated because the rooms get quite bright in the morning.
Very much a matter of personal taste, but we found the decor to be on the cold side of 'neutral'. Warmer lighting, or a lamp or two in the living room, would help it feel a bit cosier. An armchair, or even a couple of beanbags, to go with the comfortable sofa in the living room would have been nice.
Furniture and decor in general seemed 'cheap and cheerful', which made the stay feel a little expensive.
