Angella's Caravan - Morecambe

The sitting rooom was spacious. Facilities in the kitchen. Two toilets. Allocated parking space.The price was reasonable. Location near sea, supermarkets and gas station.

When I booked the place it said access to swimming pool was included. My 3 kids were excited about it. However, upon arrival we were told that this wasn't the case because we "booked though Booking.com" and that if we wanted to access the pool we should pay extra. Also, there were No towels and No toilet papers in the toilets. Luckilly we had our own towels. But the toilet paper we had to buy from a Tesco Express 10 - 15 mins walk from the campsite. I went to the reception (within their opening hours) on two occasions, called, "Hello! anybody there?" and waited a few mins, because I wanted to ask them for towels and toilet papers, however, nobody showed up. So, I left.

Beautiful property, enough room for a family of 4. Well equipped with everything you would need including bedding and towels which was really handy! Very close to the club house for families wishing to use it. Park was clean and well maintained and plenty of parking facilities.

Nothing everything was perfect.

The caravan was nice and clean. Spacious living area and all required cooking utensils etc. The main bedroom was spacious and comfortable.

The lighting is not good within the caravan. There is 1 single lamp within the property. The main lights are extremely bright white harsh lighting. There was no spare toilet roll and very little washing up liquid and no washing up gloves which I feel should have been included. It would have been helpful to know more about the leisure passes. We ended up having to spend £18 each (x4) for the leisure passes but were unable to access the swimming pool as it was full on both days of our stay. As we had not booked through park dean, we were unable to book swimming or activities via their site which meant you have to turn up first come first served which we subsequently found out would require queuing for 30 mins minimum before the session opened. The drinks and any activities were extremely expensive in the boathouse. The onsite kart(s) that are advertised to hire was in fact 1 kart that again needed to be booked. Anything to do with the park dean resort was very poor and disappointing.

They charge on site extra for every thing, to use facilities as this is a dean park company caravan park. There is not a washing machine in the caravan and steps into caravan are slippery so not good for elderly people
