Stunning 3 bed Home, 5 mins from Margate Beach

Excellent communication from the owner. There were lots of nice touches- milk, biscuits, shampoo/showergel etc. was lovely and clean and beds were comfy.

Very bright rooms, comfortable and well equipped.

Alot of stairs, which I guess cant be helped but maybe just to be careful when going up and down and to watch our steps.

The rooms were tastefully decorated and good sizes. The kitchen was well equipped even though we only stayed one night and didn’t use anything besides a couple of glasses. You could have cooked a meal and had everything you needed. The location was great, 10 minutes to the main beach, shops and restaurants. I have visited Margate plenty and a child so it was lovely to have that nostalgia and share it with my Sheffield family. We managed to park but did have to move the car a couple of times. Tony had mentioned a digital parking permit but we managed ok. After 6pm we put the car outside the property which was free until 8am. Tony sent a lovely digital welcome pack that had all the information we needed and recommendations for places to visit or eat.

The only downside is that the road the property is on must be a cut through for traffic and people as it was quite loud particularly until about 10:30 then again on the morning around 6:30. We had the window open so I would suggest keeping it closed at night and using the fans provided if it’s warm. The bins are unsightly but that’s Thanet council and nothing to do with the hosts, got to put them somewhere for easy disposal. Didn’t have loads of flies or anything so wasn’t a problem.

Location, decor and fantastic hosts always available with information. Lots of extra facilities at the address should you need them, will stay again :). Always paid for an electronic parking space outside the property as a bonus!
