Beautiful Margate Retreat with Log burner, Garden, minutes to beach

Interior was well up to date & modern & clean

No oven or hob; problem with hot water & boiler pressure but was resolved; no pillow cases on 2nd pillows; exterior location a little to be desired (not easy on the eye)

Beautiful house, very clean and adequately equipped. Lots of sleeping space. Very close to the beach - 8 min walk. Lots of shops nearby. My children loved the bedroom with the high bunk - both the top and the bottom was like a secret den for them to chill out. Both sofa beds were comfy. The host was quick to respond to all queries and very accommodating. Lovely garden space with a BBQ. No cooker in the kitchen. But there is a dual air fryer which was convenient for us especially with our kids - able to make chips, wings etc. Wifi was strong, I was able to work in the house on my laptop, and the TV had all subscription channels available, lots to watch. 8 of us (3 kids, 2 elderly, + 3 adults) stayed very happily during a very hot summer! All in all, a very comfy and convenient stay, I would definitely come back.

There is a steep step at the front door and steps to go down to enter the house, which is difficult for elder individuals - my fault for not checking this with the host first so not a complaint but just to bear in mind for visitors with mobility issues. We had issues with hot water but again the host was amazing, responded to our messages and arranged for a boiler engineer to visit straight away and get this resolved.
