WOOLACOMBE ADMIRALS LODGE 6 Bedrooms

Awesome views! Great location, access to beaches and both Woolacombe as a small town and Mortehoe as a more traditional village for pubs, activities (scarecrow hunt); plenty of kitchen equipment, open plan area all together meant group could all be together. Car parking was a godsend as we had four cars, three we stowed in tightly under building one, the largest, we got a permit for £35 and left in the Mortehoe village carpark for the week.

The quality of beds, mattresses variable, as was furniture which felt a tad delicate and liable to collapse. No towels for house , except a couple of hand towels nor beach which is unusual and a bit of a pain as we were all travelling tight due to self catering and beach activities gear, so this added in 22 towels!

Notes all around the place stating that beds need stripping at the end, put in bags. I paid £3.5k for a week surely they should do that in with the price. Take all those notes off and get the cleaners to do it in on the price. I’m a man taking my young ones alone..Never have I had to do that anywhere. That’s the only downfall that annoyed me. Taking that into note that the only thing that annoyed me. lol

Great views and location

I made mistake of booking through booking.com sand was advised I’d paid more than if I’d booked with Choice. Had to pay for 1 car at Mortehoe car park but knew that before we arrived.

Location was great, with access to coastal walks straight on the doorstep. Fantastic views overlooking the sea. The property was fully equipped.
