The log fire was a big comfort, we loved the overall quietness of the place.
Could have been a bigger space in the bathroom around the toilet.

This was the most perfect location for walks with the dogs and the local amenities. It was walking distance to the Chichester Arms. Mailscot was very cosy with the added bonus of having an enclosed garden.
We had no dislikes.

Wonderful location in a great village with fantastic walking, lovely places to eat and fabulous beaches nearby. The beds were all very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped.

The location was great and the property very spacious. We rented all 3 properties for a family gathering of 4 families so suited us very well. The properties were well supplied with kitchen equipment and plenty of games. We enjoyed the spacious garden and made use of all the surfing equipment and the barbecue
The two cottages were nicely decorated but the main house was a little tired.

Location is superb, Mortehoe is splendid, we literally had Mediterranean weather all week, and saw some stunning sunsets. The cottage was simply perfect, particularly the garden. No hesitation in rebooking.
Only very slight niggle, No loo roll, nowhere local open to buy any, probably just an oversight by the host, and certainly wouldn't stop us returning.

Cosy, clean and welcoming. Matched the description perfectly, no unpleasant surprises. The lovely communal garden with picnic benches made it comfortable to eat outside and take advantage of the weather. A helpful information pack was a nice touch to know more about the local area and amenities.
I recommend contacting the owners by phone in advance to get pertinent details for check in as there was no information provided on which cottage we had been allocated or how to access the key.

The whole surroundings were perfect for our little getaway. Only issue and not a big one garden wasn't enclosed so our dog was left on long lead but definitely will be back
Garden could of been enclosed but would not deter us from staying again

Lots of extras included that we hadn't expected, such as table-tennis table, croquet, and wetsuits to borrow.
Fire seemed difficult to start and keep going in the wood-burning stove.

Great location in a well maintained, pleasant setting. This is a perfect spot for exploring the local beaches and costal resorts
There is a hall extractor fan, that came on in the middle of the night and intermittently through the day (which was no longer an issue once we found out this could be turned off). Communication delays at the start of our stay meant that we were waiting outside for around 1 hour before we could gain access to the property.

Great location, loved the log burner and the fact that lots were provided! Really comfortable bedrooms!
No cheese grater, may sound silly but when you need one and only have a peelers it’s annoying haha!
Could do with some tidying up in places but not a complaint

Super location with easy access to coastal path and local beaches.
Cottage had a homely feel to it with plenty of space for everyone including the dog.
Outdoor area was lovely.
The cottage is in need of general maintenance and decoration. Reported repair jobs in the hope they would be seen to before the next holiday makers arrived.

A very nice property well maintained and modern. Comfortable and warm and homely. Situated in a lovely little village with all the basics you could need. Would happily stay here again.
Bathroom was great apart from being a bit snug. Lack of defined/walled or fenced garden area as its one large property split to three holiday properties. Only very minor issues which didn't affect our holiday in any way

We loved how big the house was - so much space to chill - very cosy living room, homely well equipped kitchen, and dining room for dinner! Also the location was wonderful - lovely little village with beautiful coastal walks right from the front door.
Slightly costly for this time of year!

Great space, comfortable beds, great location with local amenities (pubs, takeaways, camp shop). Short drive to large sandy beach, direct access to coastal path and endless options to make circular routes. Pushchair accessible route out to Bull Point lighthouse. Note nearest beach -Rockham is not currently accessible. Enjoyed table tennis on site, sadly didn't have time to use the croquet.
It's a lovely large garden, enclosing it would make it more relaxing for pet owners/ families with young children and adding some garden furniture for sunny days would be a plus.
