Excellent, central location with off-street parking. House was v clean and comfortable and warm!! Excellent communication from owner and allowed to check in early which was a bonus! Lovely Xmas decorations. Had everything we needed for our Xmas mini break!

These are just minor niggles and wouldn’t put us off staying here again: V cold kitchen floor (bring slippers !!) No downstairs toilet ( I’m just being lazy !) Lack of spare bin liners for kitchen bin and no spare loo rolls ( again not a big issue!)

Lovely house, big rooms, loved the dining room, nicely furnished and clean. Bathroom was well decorated and clean, good shower and bath. Galley kitchen had plenty of cupboard space, plenty of crockery and a variety of glasses. Good dishwasher and fridge etc. Towels in both the bathroom and kitchen were nice and clean. Outdoor space was big with a super table, chairs and an umbrella, great for summer. Maybe some artificial grass up near the gates for kids to play on. Fitz Park nearby is amazing, worth a walk or two. Not too far from town centre. Parking off road at the back of the house is great, especially if the road at the front has no space. Would book again.

Only one thing. The mattress on the bed in the big front bedroom was lumpy. The top left side as you look from the bottom of the bed. In the lounge, the heat from the radiator was trapped by the sofa. We had to move it away from the window and angle it to watch TV.

Central for visiting other parts of the area.

The smell of dogs and dog hairs.
