The Wanderer's Rest is in a great location with easy access into Keswick and lots of great walks near by. It is well furnished with lots of crockery/cutlery for a family. It was very clean, warm and the beds were nice and comfortable too.
It has a great kitchen and dining room and a seating room with great sofas.
We booked it through booking.com and the check in time was 3pm but when the details came through the day before we were due to stay the check in time had moved to 5pm and we could not access the property before then. Likewise the checkout time on booking.com was 10 but the email said 9am. On the website for Cottages.com check in time is from 3pm and checkout is 10am so not sure why there was a different time given.

Lovely house in great location, really comfy beds. Excellent facilities even had dog treats, reclining chairs and sofa in living room.

Great location, cosy, comfortable setting. Good beds and kitchen.
Shower in bathroom not good enough to use, no recycling facilities, a large crack in one of the bedroom windows upstairs with broken blind that could not be pulled down for sleeping. Broken blind in living room.
