Sintra Flower Lux Apartments

Amazing location and the view to the palace. Clean quiet apartment right in the center of the historic Sintra. Great for a family vacation.

The location was great except for parking which was down hill and made it difficult to get our luggage to the Airbnb. It was spacious, comfortable and easy walking access to all the sites

Location was central. Space was comfortable. Staff was very responsive for questions . Nice wine shop next door. Good restaurants nearby.

The location could not have been better. It was right across from the National Palace of Sintra. For those walking from the train station, know that the walk is fine until you get to the set of stairs that leads to the historic town center. There are a lot of stairs, and while manageable for some, there are others who might want to get a taxi or Uber to get to the apartment. One benefit of walking is that you will be able to stop at a nice place to grab a bite called Cafe Saudade, which has vegan options. As far as the apartment goes, it is aesthetically very nice and, while at the town center, is quiet when the windows are closed. Additionally, the kitchen looked well stocked, but we only used it to eat our take-away meal, so I can't promise it has everything that is needed.

These are things that other visitors might want to be aware of. 1) There were two of us traveling, and we assumed that both bedrooms would be available for us to use, but only one bedroom had a bed made up. If you want to use both bedrooms, make sure you communicate that with the host beforehand. 2) The bed had only a fitted sheet and a comforter on it, which meant that we did not have a clean flat sheet to protect us from a comforter that we doubt was washed after each guest. 3) The towels were rough and looked old. Additionally, the shower stalls are not very big so larger individuals might find it uncomfortable to use.
