Amazing location and the view to the palace. Clean quiet apartment right in the center of the historic Sintra. Great for a family vacation.

The location was great except for parking which was down hill and made it difficult to get our luggage to the Airbnb. It was spacious, comfortable and easy walking access to all the sites

Location was central. Space was comfortable. Staff was very responsive for questions . Nice wine shop next door. Good restaurants nearby.

The biggest advantage of this apartment is its excellent location. It is right in the center of Sintra, making it easy to walk to the main attractions, restaurants, and shops. The apartment is also spacious and well suited for families or groups, with two bathrooms, two showers, and plenty of room.

There are, however, several points that could be improved. The apartment is noisy at night because of its central location, so sleeping with the windows open is difficult. Since there is no air conditioning, you often have to choose between fresh air and a quiet night’s sleep. One of the bedrooms never receives natural sunlight, which makes it feel quite dark throughout the day. The apartment is also missing some basic kitchen essentials, such as salt, which many guests would expect to find. In addition, some areas, especially parts of the flooring, show signs of wear and would benefit from renovation. A tip for future guests: avoid the small mini markets in the immediate area, as the prices are extremely high and you are likely to pay far more than necessary. Instead, take a taxi for about 10 minutes to one of the larger supermarkets, where you’ll find a much better selection at normal prices. Overall, the fantastic location and spacious layout make this apartment a good base for exploring Sintra, but a few practical improvements would make the stay much more comfortable.
