Amelie was an awesome hostess. Good communication. We loved having the whole apartment, which suited our needs perfectly. Rustic but comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Ample ceiling fans. Quiet.

Just wished the bed in the main bedroom was up off the floor. Difficult for us old people to get in and out of.

Excellent location, very clean and the owner was very keen and friendly. We had a great time this week there.

There’s a lot of mosquitoes but there’re loads in the island. They have spray and incense in the house.

The idea and design is nice. but it wasn’t presented or described very clearly in the listing.

Unfortunately we discovered there were bed bugs, which was a horrible surprise. At first we thought the bites were from mosquitoes since there are no window screens and the doors are open gates where animals and bugs can come in. After visiting a pharmacy we were told the bites were from bed bugs. The beds are also placed directly on the floor. It was around 35°C during our stay and there was only one AC unit in a single bedroom, while the other three beds only had fans, which made the heat very difficult to sleep in.
