Family-friendly Unforgettable Vacation at over the water house.

We had a wonderful time! We found it easy to call for taxis. BoBo and Mikol were our tour guides and water taxi! We brought a cooler of food to chef up most nights but we did go to dinner one night to an incredible small Italian restaurant! Such great food. The house is pretty secluded, which is what we wanted, more stars and less noise. We heard the howler monkeys at the house, saw a local manta ray on a daily basis, and swam with incredible fish, all of this was right at the house. Just fyi, the water at the house is rain water so we brought 2- 5 gallon jugs of water with us for drinking and cooking. Seriously not a big deal we just wanted to be safe. There are so many kind helpers around that help you load and unload the boats, bringing extra water was not a big deal. just make sure you tip. They make it well worth it! We were adventurous one day and rented 4-wheelers to take to blue lagoon. If I were to do it again, I would have rented electric bikes. It is about 15 km through the jungle on a trail, well worth it! The 4-wheelers were fun but just kind of loud. It would have been better to have the quiet bikes to hear the jungle. We got to take a shower at Skullies, then went to dinner. Awesome time. We highly recommend this beautiful place!

The hosts were fabulous, best we have ever had! They greeted us when we arrived and showed us where everything was and how things worked. So friendly and helpful with suggestions on things to do, where to eat and shop. I reached out with several questions during our stay and Natacha always responded quickly and went above and beyond. The house was so thoughtfully appointed, they thought of everything!Don’t know if the opportunity will arise but we would love to stsy here again!

This is a once in a life time experience, do not miss it! However, you must go with the right expectations. First, don’t worry about anything … communication in Panama is not always clear, but the people are so nice, and really work hard to make things work out. I was concerned about eating. This is a remote bungalow, with no road access. You can only arrive via water taxi and it’s a 15 minute ride to the town. When you get to the airport, find a taxi, they will take you to buy groceries. Then go to the Saigon dock and load up the water taxi. Next, you need cash … they don’t take credit cards. Bring plenty, it’s safe and no fear of theft. The property was clean, and comfortable with the most beautiful views I have ever seen. Go snorkeling, go to Zapatilla Beach. I recommend against the dolphin watching, because the guides are really torchering and scaring the dolphins trying to get them to jump out of the water. Food is delicious everywhere. WiFi is excellent. Water is safe enough for cooking and no problems having ice in your drinks. Overall, for a well travelled guest, this is one of the best places I have ever been.

Poli was great with communication. Staying at this house is kinda like living on a boat. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax and play in the ocean then this house is for you. It’s a 8 min boat ride to the closest market so bring lots of water with you. You’ll need at least 2 gallons of water a day. You’ll want to brush your teeth and cook with bottled water. The boat ride to Bocas town is 15-20 mins. Bocas town is where you’ll find restaurants, markets, banks, etc. Make sure you bring plenty of cash because you’ll need cash to pay for the water taxis. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and playing in the ocean.
