Escape to the beauty of the Poconos in this cozy cabin. Relax in the private outdoor hot tub, gather around the fire pit under the stars, or challenge friends and family to a game in the pool table game room. Take in the fresh mountain air from the spacious covered and open-air decks designed for year-round enjoyment. Just steps away, the private community has a pickleball court, several tennis courts, and a playground. Iron Elk Cabin offers everything you need for an amazing stay.
Unwind and melt stress away as you relax by the fire, take a short walk to the lake beach or head out to the many nearby attractions. Our cabin backs up directly to the expansive state game lands, which can easily be explored directly from our yard.
The spacious cabin has 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, offering plenty of room for the entire family. Iron Elk Cabin is the perfect getaway for entertaining or relaxing in the Poconos! Guests have access to the entire house, which features:

* Large deck with 8-seat dining table, perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!
* Gas BBQ and charcoal BBQ available. Propane provided, but please bring your own charcoal.
* Screened-in porch that's perfect for relaxing and watching wildlife every day!
* A community pickleball court and tennis courts (reservation required in advance).

Located just minutes from Lake Harmony and the Jack Frost Big Boulder ski resorts, as well as from the NASCAR Pocono Raceway. Within 25 minutes of other popular Pocono attractions such as Camelback, Kalahari, Premium Outlets, restaurants, water rafting, hiking, wineries, paintball, Pocono Raceway, and Mt Airy Casino.

* Guests bringing a pet must disclose at time of booking and pay the associated pet fee.
* There is an extra charge for a second dog.
* House-trained dogs only.
* No dogs under 1-year-old allowed.
* Pets are not allowed on beds or furniture.
* No more than 2 dogs are allowed.
Other things to note:
* The maximum occupancy at all times is 12 people.
* You must provide your ID to Airbnb to verify your identity. A valid email address and phone number must be provided before check-in.
* No parties are allowed in the house. This is strictly enforced. Please be respectful of our neighbors and observe the community quiet hours of 10pm - 8am.
* No smoking of any type permitted inside the house. We reserve the right to keep the security deposit as an instant penalty if the house smells of smoke or contains smoking-related litter.
* A signed rental agreement and security deposit hold on your credit card are required for booking.
* Per Community request, guests will be asked to provide a list of their vehicle(s) information prior to the start of their stay. The cabin allows a maximum of 5 cars at all times and it is mandatory for all vehicles to be registered with the community before arrival.
* For your safety and ours, security cameras are located on the exterior of the property.
* Only REGISTERED boats, kayaks, and paddleboards are allowed on the lake.

Hello! We stayed for our annual summer vacation with kids and grandkid. We found the home to be clean and welcoming. Several nice touches by the host, my favorite being the coffee bar and the fully stocked smores kit ( who doesn’t love smores). The property has so much to do, we didn’t leave but to go hiking at hickory run (awesome ) and dinner at Woodys. (Not so awesome). From the hot tub, to the board games and connect four, pool table, tvs and my favorite-the hammocks, this place is terrific for a relaxing family trip. The lake in the development is well stocked with trout and bass. My son enjoyed some fresh trout for lunch a few days. The host, Nica was terrific with communication, the the right amount and always responsive to questions. Nica and the Ideal Stays team- thank you for a great experience.

The cabin was so cozy, perfect place to stay for a weekend getaway, so many games/activities both at the house and around the area! Cabin was immaculate both inside and out! Host communication was always timely and helpful!

The house was perfect for a winter get away. There were plenty of thoughtful niceties that our host left us. Lighting/ceiling fan operation was a tad tricky and the main bedroom mattress was a bit too firm/uneven for our liking, but otherwise the place was a good spot for kids and adults to kick back.
