Apartment was a short walking distance to Lake Windermere, cafes and Beatrix Potter Museum. The rooms were comfortable and the washing machine/dryer proved useful. Off-street parking was a blessing.
Probably a minor thing but the wall and radiator stains lowered the apartment standard. Lower shower rose kept falling off the holder.

The flat was well situated for easy reach of Windemere and Bowness on Windemere (about a 20 minute walk to both) and in a quiet road. The amenities were good and it was spacious. We appreciated the responsiveness of the agency when we reported a problem (see below). Parking was available outside the building which was very convenient.
The flat hadn't been cleaned when were arrived but a phone call to the agency quickly resolved the problem and they sent someone within the hour. The washing machine didn't work and was not repaired while we were there but this had no impact on our stay.
