Rooftop pool Couples promenade retreat-Wifi- NEW

I liked the location of the apartment and we did enjoy our stay. The staff were very nice and helped out where they could. (Security and cleaners)

When we arrived we had to call the agency because there was nobody to help us. The security had to get someone who works there to let us in our apartment. The photos of the apartment on booking.com is very deceiving because the apartment is much smaller than it looks on the photos. The bed side tables very dirty and very sticky. We didn’t have the password of the wifi and we had to mail them to get it. When we wanted to use the toaster the electricity shut off completely every time. They only give two capsules of coffee and one little bag with coffee and only two toilet paper roles which they don’t replace and that is all you get for the entire stay. That is also deceiving on booking.com. Overall the place was still dirty especially on the floors when we arrived. There was still sand on the floor. On booking.com they mentioned there are 4 swimming pools. There is actually just one swimming and it is also mentioned that it is heated but it is not and it is ice cold. We stayed there for a week and wanted to stay longer in Cape Town so we booked this place again. The cleaner came and cleaned the place but stuff like the coffee capsules, coffee bag and toilet paper was not replaced and we had to buy it.

The address on booking.com is incorrect, I had to uber twice in the rain. Please update the address to Ivory on Kloof.

The bed, it ddnt have headboard. I keep hitting the wall. The TV remote, some buttons ddnt work.

THE LOCATION AND SECURITY WERE GOOD There was good coffee and milk provided but the coffee pot is broken

The host did not provide me with the details to access the apartment. They sent a mail to say that check in would be later and I replied asking for a time and they did not reply to me. They misspelt the WIFI code so was not able to access wifi for the first night. I did manage on the second night and thereafter. There is a bad smell coming from the shower. I left the door open and it seemed to improve the situation. The walls are thin so I could hear everything in the other apartments
