A well appointed apartment, right in the old centre, but the location is a bit intimidating.

The accommodation was excellently fitted out and very comfortable. The host was quick to respond and came to the apartment within minutes when I was not sure on the location and how to gain entry.

Whilst the location in the centre of Rennes SHOULD be excellent, the street is full of buildings being renovated and has an overall ambiance of being RUNDOWN. It is a Medieval street so that should be expected, but this apartment appears to be one of the first few to be refurbished, and the owner has done a great job. When I arrived it was not easy to identify the apartment as there were a number of males standing sheltering and drinking/smoking in the doorway and in the general area of the entrance. I was not intimidated, and I do not think the men posed any threat, but I would caution a lone female of even a number of females that the location may be a bit intimidating. On entering the door from the street, the corridor and stairs are quite dilapidated and run down, continuing a possible sense of caution. The apartment is above a pub and the street is noisy at night. This was pointed out in advance, and earplugs provided [which I used], but nonetheless I was awakened a few times.

Location is right in the centre of the old town

This needs to be read, bearing in mind these are historic buildings that have very limited changes that can be made to them. The entrance is through a small door then down a dank narrow hall way. Room is reasonable size, there is no air conditioning which means when you close the windows to keep the noise out (there is a pub just below your window, open until 1am, and the street cleaning starts at 5am) the room gets hot quickly. That combined with the musty (old building smell) makes it difficult to get comfortable. Windows closed, reduced noise but hot. Windows open, cool but very noisy. A lot of this is very much beyond the property owners control. It is in a very old building in the historical centre of town.

Les nuisances sonores car rue très festive. Bruit tous les soirs même en début de semaine et cela jusqu'à 2h30 du matin, parfois même 3h. Donc pas cool quand on est en formation professionnelle de ne pas pouvoir s'endormir à cause du bruit.

Bon séjour à Rennes.

Appartement très propre, fonctionnel et bien agencé. La boîte à clefs en bas de l’immeuble permet une arrivée facile et à l’horaire qu’on veut. J’avais mes propres bouchons pour la nuit mais il y en avait à disposition, ce qui est sympa car lors des soirées étudiantes il y a un peu de ramdam dans la rue, mais les bars respectent les heures de fermeture. L’emplacement est très bien, à une minute du métro Saint-Anne.

L’appartement est un peu humide et les rideaux pourraient être plus larges et occultants car avec l’éclairage extérieur il n’y fait jamais nuit.

Je ne le recommande pas du tout si vous voulez y dormir, mais pour aller à Rennes pour faire la fête

L'appartement est très bien équipé, confortable et propre, localisé est en plein centre ville, parfait pour un étudiant qui cherche découvrir Rennes et ne le dérange pas ne pas dormir avant 1h du matin (car il fait la fête aussi).

Le logement est situé dans une rue très animée (pleine de bars en bas). La chambre est à côté de la fenêtre, ce qui la rend très bruyante et presque impossible à dormir avec le bruit extérieur. L'hôte nous a prévenus juste après la réservation, sans possibilité d'annuler sans frais. Autant dire que c'était soit perdre son argent, soit partir en sachant qu'on ne dormira pas (ce qui était le cas). Je ne le recommande pas du tout si vous y allez pour le travail ou avec des enfants. Si vous allez faire la fête, en revanche, c'est parfait car il est situé en plein centre de la ville. Dommage que les attentes n'aient pas été clarifiées avant la réservation.
