The property was very nice and in a great location.

The front door was slightly challenging to locate when arriving late, but the stay was excellent overall.

The shared bathroom was clean, pleasant and always free so I felt like it was just mine. The kitchen was well equipped with cooking facilities, spices, glassware, and again, very clean.

My room was very hot.

Location was perfect. Our room was kindly upgraded for no additional charge. The room was small and neat but really comfortable and had everything we needed. Would happily be back.

Bedside rail on the top bunk would be a worthwhile addition just for added caution. Otherwise super, no complaints.

Great location with lots of shops and things to do nearby, and easy connection to the tube. The decoration in the bedrooms is charming and cheerful, and the room I had was very spacious. The bed was comfortable and I had a nice big window in my room with lots of natural light. Cleanliness was good too.

For a family-run business as part of the brand, I was surprised for everything to be so digitalised / without humans around! I visit London regularly and this was the only time I've stayed somewhere with 0 humans physically around to support or welcome you to the place. The online check-in process was a bit inconvenient and long, and I'd rather just speak to a human upon arrival. Because everything is done online, everything that you could usually just ask the staff for as a favour (e.g. early or late check-out, etc.) is charged as extra (e.g. £30 for checking out 1 hour later). You also can't store your bags at the place, which I've never experienced in all my travels. I had to take a couple of online meetings here, and the video didn't work because the wifi connection was too weak. If you like a more digital / transactional approach for accommodation, I'm sure you will enjoy Rest for its location and colourful bedrooms. But if part of travelling is about human connection for you, it might not be the best spot. Also, there isn't AC in the rooms, so maybe best to avoid for the hotter summer days/weeks.
