The shared bathroom was clean, pleasant and always free so I felt like it was just mine. The kitchen was well equipped with cooking facilities, spices, glassware, and again, very clean.
My room was very hot.

The location is perfect, 30 seconds from Ladbrook Grove Station and a short walk to the heart of Notting Hill/Portobello Road. My room was huge, with all amenities needed and a super comfortable bed. I was pleasantly surprised with my stay.

Location was perfect. Our room was kindly upgraded for no additional charge. The room was small and neat but really comfortable and had everything we needed. Would happily be back.
Bedside rail on the top bunk would be a worthwhile addition just for added caution. Otherwise super, no complaints.

The location is good. When a problem occurred, staff reacted quickly and solved it in an hour, even though it was after working hours.
The property needs serious upgrades. There was mold on the ceiling (photo attached). We found a press-on nail on the floor in a stairwell which stayed there for basically whole duration of our stay (does not say anything good about the cleanliness). There was a specific damp smell in the apartment. It also seems like the property received a so called “landlord special” - there were paint streaks on the sofa, the bathroom is not tiled and instead covered in some cheap plastic.
