The Avonmore Olympia

Location, standard of rooms, everything was great.

It was great

Perfect location as was at an event at the British Airways Arc

Check in was a faff as no staff and I had no phone signal and check in is coded. Luckily someone was around!

Good location, nice balcony, comfortable room with en-suite.

The shower control was a bit stiff and it took a while to figure out how to adjust the temperature so that it didn’t burn.

The property was okay overall, and the location was good—close to Kensington Olympia station and many bus stops. The bathrooms and rooms were also clean, and the fridge was fine. It has a little garden too, so it fits well for some meals outside if there’s a nice weather

The cleanliness was a major issue; the place looked like it had been cleaned months before our stay and neglected since. There were stains on the walls. Towels were clean but had a stale smell from being stored for a long time. There was a thick coat of dust and spider webs inside the lamps. While it looked clean at first glance, a closer look revealed that the washing machine, cutlery, stove, inside of the oven, and kettle were dirty. The most disgusting part was finding old food left inside the microwave, which looked like it had been there for months.
