The best part is the roominess of the guest house, and the incredible friendliness of the staff. There's a garden, several large lounges, and it's in a perfect neighborhood. I've stayed here many times, and will always come back because it feels like being in a big house. This is FAR better than a hotel, because of the room to spread out, a large garden, the chance to either chat with many others (or be alone), and the friendliness.

This is my second stay here and yet again it did not disappoint. The staff were very welcoming, the room was clean, quiet and the beds comfortable. We didn't use the tea and coffee in the room, but the complimentary shampoo and shower gel was welcomed. There was a good selection of food in the canteen style dining room for dinner and breakfast, and we loved the option of sitting outside in the garden to eat if we wanted. I'd highly recommend this place for families too; there are high chairs available, some basic children's play equipment in the secure garden, and plenty of games in the games room and cafe for entertainment (including a foosball table, pool table and board and card games). Facilities are basic but it is a hostel style environment; however everything is clean, comfortable and the addition of a fan in the room in the current summer heat was very welcome. The place feels so secure and safe, will definitely be back again for a third, fourth, fifth time if we need another overnight in London again!

Being REALLY picky.... they ran out of croissants at breakfast before we got there!!
