Amazing views, apartment, location, hosts!

Unbelievable location, extremely spacious, full kitchen and laundry facilities, incredible views across the lake, amazingly supportive hosts. Fantastic experience in the Mamma Ciccia cooking academy, Silvia is an amazing teacher and chef, and an beautiful person as well! Highly recommended!

Unfortunately the a/c became inoperative after the first day, and despite the valiant efforts of our hosts, the serviceman couldn't fix it till we vacated. We had a great fan however and wonderful attentive hosts every step of the way. Nothing was too much trouble.

A perfect stay in Mandello!

We had an incredible 5 night stay in Mandello del Lario here. The apartment is spacious and really clean. Lots of nice touches like coffee and washing pods which were appreciated! Location is perfect - super close to everything and a beautiful balcony to sit and have a coffee/dinner on. We will be back!

Did Not Want To Leave. Amazing location. Loved it.

We loved the location. Mandello is a gorgeous town without big crowds. Our apartment was literally on the main piazza, where the ferry stopped enroute Bellagio. From the balcony you can also see the lake and hear it lapping at the shore. Very close to everything. Small supermarket too. Very spacious, lots of storage, aircon and fly screens. Elevator, great for luggage but quicker to take stairs!! Piazza can get noisy around dinner time and beyond, it’s nice if you’re not trying to sleep. Closing the doors blocks out the noise but also the breeze. I would stay here again in a heartbeat though.

Not a big issue but No kettle. Therefore no tea or coffee in room. Heads-up, bring supplies and use a saucepan. Sorted.

I could admire this balcony view forever

Great location (just near the boat station and 8 min walk to the railway station). The apartment is very cosy, feeling like at home. The house is newly renovated. Stunning view! The staff was very friendly and helpful

Me personally was missing a kettle and microwave oven on the kitchen. Otherwise, the apartment is fully equipped

Exceptional

Amazing location. Locals are extremely friendly. Felt like we had our own personal paradise. Great food and drink locations locally. Supermarket in walking distance. No ferries running during our stay, but a short beautiful train journey into Varenna meant we could jump on a ferry and visit other locations like Como and Bellagio. All of this was told to us by our wonderful host who was extremely helpful. Will be definitely returning again.
