The cabin easily accommodated 6 people. There were two bathrooms and the cabin was warm. Stocked with tea and coffee.
The towels provided were a little worn. There was no smoke alarm. The bed mattresses were a little thin. The pub was open very late and there was not much parking spaces.

Attention to detail and very comfortable and roomy. And the situation was good too - lovely view of a field from the window.

Location was good. Quiet area with Play Park near by.
Beds where noisy.

Location is lovely (idyllic suffolk village, next to a quaint old country pub), the pod is spacious and well laid out and clean, especially having 2 showerrooms, which was a blessing for 5 of us. The showers were good, with plenty of room and showergel/shampoo provided. Plenty of spare bedding. Great to have some games and magazines. Very peaceful.
There was only 1 frying pan, and no saucepans, which made cooking a challenge, especially for 5 people . No tea-towels or kitchen rolls, and only a tiny drop of washing-up liquid.

Lovely idea with log cabins but could be made a lot better,
Beds were incredibly uncomfortable, and very noisy fan in bathroom which you can’t turn off so noisy all night. Also booking description says you can get food at pub next door but they don’t open til 2pm so nowhere to get breakfast without a long drive as very remote.

Location and picturesque views.
The plumbing didn’t work, causing issues everyone a toilet was flushed or sink used. Constant noise from outside bedroom (from heating/generator?) which sounded like an aircraft outside the window all night. Beds were very uncomfortable and squeaked all night from both bedrooms. No tea towels to dry up cups etc. the heating doesn’t work. Outside lights kept going on and off throughout the night keeping my children awake.

A very pretty, quiet village in a great location with a great park and dog walk, close by. Close to Newmarket and the pod was clean and reasonably comfortable. However, it had advertised that it had WiFi and a tv, and it had neither. The 16th century pub, was also closed during our visit, but we were able to find a very nice pub not too far away. The other issue was the water pump (we think) which after using the shower or flushing the toilet, sounded like a drone flying right outside the bedroom windows. If you’re NOT travelling with teenagers, it’s lovely, just don’t use the bathroom facilities before bedtime.

The pub next door was very helpful and accommodating
The heating / hot water system in the cabin was very temperamental and didn’t work most of the time. The beds were fairly uncomfortable.

The location, nice and quite, lovely area in country side.
No micro wave oven, tht would have been handy, and a tv.

The pod was very spacious and well laid out. Having 2 shower rooms was a bonus. The beds were really comfortable. The children loved the large play area. Being next to The Star was brilliant, food superb and just a few steps away.
Nothing at all, would highly recommend.

Returning guests. These glamping pods are on the site of a historic pub The Star at Lidgate where the menu and service is excellent, The pods (x2) are located in the pub garden amidst trees and farmers fields. Very convenient for Newmarket and Bury St. Edmunds (A14) Lidgate has an historic church and castle (remains) which are on a designated footpath from the pub. The pods are spacious and will easily accommodate six persons with two en-suite shower rooms.
The access to the pods is by way of short flight of wooden steps to veranda which may prove difficult for some disabled persons.

Our second visit. This is 10/10 glamping at it's best. The units are well appointed with everything and more you would expect in a Self Catering B&B. These are timber buildings and a new experience (good) from being surrounded by bricks and mortar.
The location is superb in a garden setting. The bar and food in the adjacent pub is excellent served in a really true country pub atmosphere. Dogs (well behaved) are welcome. Lovely walks around this historic village. Good location for Newmarket and Bury St. Edmunds, both about 30 min. drive.
Regret, access to units is not easy for guests with walking difficulties with steep steps to veranda. This is also the emergency exit. There is no disabled access and this may prove difficult for a wheel-chair user. Caution city dwellers - these are all narrow country roads - watch out for the occasional tractor/combine, especially in the harvest season.

Lovely spacious pod. Nice and clean, and loved it had two bathrooms. Good location and quiet.
Shame it didn't have a microwave, would be helpful with breakfast's.
Fine with no t.v but maybe a speaker so can play music.
The beds were comfortable, but sadly noisy base so whenever turnt over everyone knew about it.

Location next to the pub, brilliant. Quiet, full of nature. Outside space, terrace. Two rooms, two bathrooms, excellent, kitchen well equipped.
For wine drinkers, big plastic tumblers not ideal. Maybe plastic flutes as we were celebrating a birthday with champagne as many people might do.

Quirky cabins just behind The Star pub. Very clean and well designed. Loved that there was a shower room for each bedroom. We had a lovely stay..
All the are single which was fine for our group but.might not suit someone on the larger or taller side. No TV in the lodges. Which again was not a negative for us at all, But others may prefer a TV.,
