We stayed in the Yurt and the Hobbit House .. both were incredibly comfortable, very clean, unique & special. Both felt very separated due to the clever and beautiful planting scheme of flowers and grasses. The 2x communal bathrooms were great , very clean, spacious and fab showers and the kitchen and lounge area had everything you needed . Just perfect all round.
There was nothing to dislike about the property !

The location is lovely and peaceful, it was about a 20 minute walk into Long Melford. We stayed in the Shepherds Hut which was a good size and nicely decorated. We didn’t use the kitchen facilities as we only stayed one night, but they would be good if you were staying longer. The bathrooms were nicer than others in similar places I’ve stayed. The hosts were welcoming.
A screen or something to the side of the hot tub would be nice for a little privacy.

The attention to detail in making sure that our stay was as comfortable and relaxing as possible was phenomenal and it all came along with the most beautiful grounds and facilities. Clare and Henry are extremely friendly and welcoming when we arrived and throughout our stay. When we were looking for a nice local attraction to go to they were very helpful in pointing us in the right direction with local knowledge, which made all the difference. Can't thank them enough for making the break we really needed so enjoyable, was a real pleasure to be there.

Beautiful little home for the night. Took baby granddaughter for the night. Clare and her husband are wonderful hosts. It is a little piece of magic tucked away. This was my second stay within August and it is booked up for a friends hen do! Definitely recommend for a relaxing calming stay.

The hosts are lovely people, if you’re thinking of going, book quickly, whether it’s for a quiet relaxing weekend or one their retreats, you have everything you need, and a shared kitchen /bathroom facilities which are equally as lovely. We stayed in the yurt, and the weather was hot so we didn’t get use to the log burner, there’s a little village not far and a nice walk in the country. Definitely recommend, the hobbit house is cute and cozy !!

We had a very friendly welcome and were shown around all the facilities.
I am very impressed with the comfort of the kitchen/lounge area as it was like home from home. There was nothing to want for as it was all there!
The grounds were well maintained, and our Yurt tent was luxurious. This is a lovely location and good value for money.
Would have liked a gravelled path way to our Yurt tent as we kept treading on slugs!

Henry and Clare were super helpful and took their time to show us around. We had the whole campsite to ourselves. The facilities and Shepards hut were of a very high standard. We can’t wait to go back again.

The room was very comfortable with comfy beds and a log burner for chilly nights. The loo and shower facilities were clean and fresh. The kitchen was well equiped with plenty of chiller space. games and music to play in the communal room. really nice to have the use of the hottub. This venue is great for a large group of friends and family.
Hosts were very helpful when our car did not start upon leaving.
clearer details of shared facilities would be helpful at the point of booking. we wrongly assumed the accomodation had private bathrooms. we had an excellent time as we had the facilities to ourselves. I think if another 2 families were sharing the kitchen space it would have been less than ideal.

Firstly, this place is a hidden Gem which is absolutely stunning 😍 - worked so hard to make the place looking peaceful and oh my, we was at peace.
And most importantly, the owners are amazing. We have traveled two hours and this was worth the traffic.
Henry and Clare were so welcoming and really made the experience warming.
Hired the hot tub which was stunning also.
Thank you for our stay and we’re looking forward to coming back.
Happy birthday Henry, I hope you have a lovely day.
The whole experience was amazing

This place was incredible. As a group of mums who have been camping and glamping together for 12 years, this is my favourite accommodation yet. The best elements of the outside; beautiful scenery, lovely fire pit area, wildlife, nature walks and wild flowers. This is accompanied by excellent modern indoor facilities with two bathrooms, a living area and fully equipped kitchen. Plus a hot tub! We stayed in the Hobbit Hut - it was so comfortable and ample space for the four of us. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts. We will definitely be back!

We both loved everything, from start to finish, when we arrived we were greeted by the hosts who were very welcoming, who showed us around and explained everything we needed to know. A lovely shared kitchen which everything you need, a lounge area and very modern toilets and showers! There was games and activities about, we played a few board games and badminton, As we walked into the Yurt it was lovely and tidy, spacious and very calming! We were supplied with a basket of wood and fire essentials for the log burner which was so relaxing, especially in the evenings and morning when it was chilly, walking in to the Yurt was lovely! When we was low on the logs all we had to do was give Clare or Henry a call and they was straight over with more! We were also supplied a bbq with coal which was used on a warm afternoon. We also had the hot tub booked which was very relaxing especially in the evening when it was dark with all the lights in and around the tub, watching the wildlife. Great location we took our dog with us, lovely public foot paths for plenty of walks, Teddy (our dog) loved all the walks and was tired out every evening, it was just a short trip to Long Melford, which was full of pubs, restaurants and food places, there is a folder of information with recommendations of where to visit which was good. The weather was very up and down but that didn't stop us! Mostly sun and sometimes a-bit of wind, was still enjoyable chilling out outside around the shared fire pit with a blanket if it was needed, one morning we had a little bit of rain in the early hours of the morning this was very relaxing to listen to whilst laying in the Yurt! We will 100% be back we loved it!
There was nothing to not like about this!

We’d never stayed in a Yurt before but definitely would again. It was brilliant. Cozy, had everything we needed. There was a separate hub with lounge area and kitchen along with two toilet/shower rooms. Everything was spotless and felt so homely and welcoming. Clare and Henry were brilliant hosts. Available if we had any questions. They made us feel so welcome.

We stayed here for one night so that we could better explore Suffolk. It was excellent. Clare and Henry are excellent hosts going out of their way to provide a first class service, even down to providing an battery pack to recharge our phone in the Yurt.
The Yurt was spotless, as were the shared facilities, and the log burn perfect for taking off the evening chill. I must also mention that the log burner was prepared in such a way that one match and it was aglow. We travelled with children but it would be a lovely get away with a communal fire pit and bookable hottub.
Really nothing, I would be properly grasping a strawers to write something. If pushed i guess having electrical hook up in the yurt would be perfect but that not what its about.

Relaxing and peaceful stay. It was cold and raining outside which made it all the more perfect for getting the log burner going and having a cosy night in the yurt.

Absolutely perfect in every way. Short walk into Long Melford where there are several places to eat and drink. Hosts were fantastic and very accommodating. We loved our stay and would certainly recommend it for anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life.
Nothing to dislike about the place.

The yurt is beautiful, with attention to detail on everything you may need in there. With the fairy lights on it is enchanting. Everything was spotlessly clean. Looking out the door across the countryside was a real buzz too. The kitchen facilities were immaculate, as were the toilet and shower. The hot tub was a huge bonus and we sat in there next to the gorgeous willow tree in the setting sun, feeling like we really hit the accommodation jackpot. The hosts went the extra mile to make sure we had a good stay and were lovely and friendly as well.
The second bed in the yurt is very hard, so my son abandoned it and joined me in the comfy bed. The main bed was gloriously comfortable. A cockerel woke us at 4.30am but that’s the countryside for you! We accepted it and had an early dip in the hot tub…

Stayed in the mobile home with my friends for the night. The hosts were amazing and so welcoming. Even though there is no electric and toilets in the mobile home, the toilets and showers were very clean and spacious. The lounge was beautifully done and clean. Definitely recommend and will be coming back. The beds were very comfortable and the area is beautiful.

The shepherds hut was kitted out very nicely.Lovely & clean & well presented.
We didn’t like the fact that you had to go across a field to use facilities,re.. bathroom heating was inadequate & meant that it was not warm enough to be able to shower.
