We’ve stayed in 2024 and it was much cleaner. It needs a deep clean, just for example the mould in the shower, bearing in mind it’s modern property. There was a lot of litter at the front of the property but the landlord is aware and it’s largely because of the restaurants and students on the street.

Gostei da cama do andar superior que era espaçosa e confortável (2 camas de solteiro que pedi para juntar) da pia do banheiro da suíte e dos chuveiros que eram grandes.

Da localização, pois é a última casa de uma rua sem saída que fica de frente para a parte de trás de um restaurante e é muito feia a vista, cheia de lixeiras, com lixos espalhados, pessoas fumando e conversando a noite, barulho de garrafas de vidro sendo derrubadas aos montes dentro das lixeiras. A rua é escura a noite e é de paralelepípedo, horrível para andar com a mala de rodinhas e o Uber nos deixou no começo da rua, ele não quis entrar, e o que veio nos buscar também. O heat do quarto superior demorou muito para esquentar e em momento algum se tornou quente, apenas morno. As cortinas do quarto superior são separadas janela por janela, o que faz com que entre claridade. Não há cortinas na sala/cozinha e eu também não gostei disso porque tira a privacidade. Entrou uma abelha, creio que por conta dos lixos que ficam na frente da casa, os bichos ficam por ali, e eu queria usar o banheiro e ela ficava voando e tenho medo de abelha. E por fim, ao lado da casa é um depósito, então sempre tem vans que estacionam na frente da porta da casa.

Parking was narrow for my van but was doable

The property was extremely clean & central. Lavinia met us and explained simply how the heating worked & turned them on for us in the hall and living room, the house was very cold on entering no heating had been put on for us. Lavinia also gave us homemade cookies. nice touch. and showed us a file which had the house rules and restaurants to eat etc. The cleaner arrived prompt on our last day he was lovely.

We turned the radiators up to max and the heaters did not heat up only slightly warm not enough to warm the house. Therefore the house very was cold. We put the oven on. I did message to say, unfortunately I didn’t see the reply until the following day saying a heater could be dropped off. I wish I had been phoned & the heaters dropped off. Maybe if the heating had previously been on this would have been different. The down stairs bedroom heater knob was broken off and an electric oil heater had been put in the room. We were not told about this. The ensuite door upstairs was broken it wouldn’t close, I had to call again & was told it was going to be an expensive job to fix it as the wall would need to be moved. I was told my 84 yr old mum would have to try and lift it up and pull. She couldn’t close it incase she got locked in the room. We were told the parking was no issue as it was on a tiny back street dead end. Lavinia said the chief from the Argentinian restaurant parked in front but left at 5pm Unfortunately this was not the case. We received continuous bangs on the door telling us to move the car or he would call the police if we did not move the car he was so aggressive. He pointed out the no parking signs meant nothing!! parking is an issue.. The downstairs shower was blocked the water would not go quickly. My mum sat on a Broken dining room chair which she nearly wobbled off. The hallway main light did not work. But we had other lights so that wasn’t really an issue. We just wish we had told about the issues in the first place. PARKING!!! heating broken radiator bathroom door chair etc. these issues where known about. Lavinia did say she would bring a tool box to fix the chair. I have never stayed in a place with so many problems. We visit Bristol so often as my son is there. At the moment I do not want to share the photos. until I get a reply.
