Hostel Balkan express

It was a very unique experience to stay at this train hostel, I think for one night it was very fun and I enjoyed my room. The price was low, of course you get what you paid for. Self check-in was smooth. Bed was very comfortable. Excellent location, easy to access from city centre. Air conditioner was included in the room.

My room (number 2) was located right next to the bathroom and it was very noisy when guests were up and using it early in the morning. The hallway was also loud when people were walking up and down. Walls are thin, so if you are a bad sleeper, you may have troubles with the noise.

Great location to the InMusic festival, comfy beds, very clean and most importantly, air con!

The food part/restaurant was never open

I was pleasantly surprised with this accommodation. The room was excellent value for money. It's around the corner from a Lidl which is super convenient and a short walk from the bus and tram links into the city centre. The air conditioning in the room was exceptional. Whilst basic (you can't expect more for the price you're paying). All the amenities are there and everything worked as expected. I would stay here again and highly recommend it, especially for solo visitors.

It was a little run down and tired in places. The sound proofing in the room wasn't great. Overall though it was fine for a short stay and I wouldn't't let it put me off.
