Zonar Zagreb by Maistra City Vibes

Spacious, clean, fantastic views across the city - particularly from the swing seat. Rooftop pool was nice but very crowded - people took up more space than needed. Room was modern and very comfortable.

The check in process was awful - we’d pre-checked in online yet it still took 25 minutes to check in when we got there. We arrived around 10.20pm and checking in took so long that room service finished meaning we couldn’t get any food, despite us saying when we arrived we’d need to order. We flagged this to the staff when they asked for feedback on checkout but the couldn’t care less!

This hotel was our final stop in Zagreb on the way home from our vacation. We wanted to end the trip on a high note, which is why we chose this place. By the way, it is the tallest hotel in Zagreb. A few highlights: The hotel fully lives up to its name: the atmosphere is distinctly urban, and everything feels modern, stylish, and well maintained. The on-site parking is convenient and reasonably priced by Zagreb standards. We arrived a little before check-in time, but were accommodated without any issues. We booked a suite and were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary bottle of champagne to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Our child absolutely loved the panoramic elevator. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. The room features a swing that is fun for both children and adults. Relaxing in the bathtub while enjoying the city view was a real highlight.

I wouldn't really call this a drawback, just something worth knowing. Our room was on one of the upper floors. The rooftop features a pool and a bar, and on weekends there may be parties until around midnight. As a result, some music can be heard from the rooms during those hours.
