Fantastic, cosy, family-run set-up

A fantastic set-up, a family-run business who were extremely easy to deal with, the room was very accommodating and we felt like we had everything we needed. The stay was exceptionally comfortable, and I would come again.

No lampshades on bedside lights which made them a bit overwhelming, but that is me being picky. Overall, I have zero major complaints.

Not good this round unfortunately.

The location was good as we stayed there before and enjoyed the stay but this time it wasn’t as pleasant, it was cold and we couldn’t get the radiator to work , there wasn’t any hot water and there was a strange smell when we walked in.

No hot water we couldn’t get the heater to work and it needs a kettle instead it the coffee machine which we couldn’t get to work when we wanted a cup of tea,

I would have preferred a kettle rather than the coffee machine. And maybe another little rubbish bin..other than that. Everything else was spot on. 🙂

Lovely cabin with everything we needed, great host!

Breakfast N/a but able to make our own. The location was great for what we needed as my grandparents are round the corner and its really hard finding somewhere near them to stay when we come up.

That I had to leave !

Cute cabin, just a few little niggles.

The bed was very comfy and a choice of pillows which was a nice touch. A great sized fridge in the room. Free parking. Lovely owner.

It was too close to the owners house, I felt like we were intruding. We were woken up before 8am with the noise of the owners kids shouting in their garden, totally happy shouting, but I have paid to get away from my own kids waking me up with their shouting!There were lots of things that just didn't quite 'work'. The bathroom door stuck and was difficult and noisy to open and close, not ideal during the night. The shower door was coming off of it''s runners so didn't close properly. The shower and shelf in the shower cubicle are both loose and wobbly on the wall and felt very fragile. The TV didn't work initially, however Kay quickly came and sorted that while we were out. We were asked to put our takeaway rubbish in a wheelie bin outside, fair enough, however the bin was crawling and overflowing with maggots, not a nice sight to be met with.

We had a lovely one night stay at the cosy cabin.

We chose this property because of its close proximity to the venue we were attending. Our host drove me to the venue to check how easy it would be for my husband to walk to as he is on crutches at the moment.

We couldn’t fault the property, everything has been carefully and expertly done and nothing has been left out. It was so peaceful and quiet too. The shared kitchen area was well equipped and easy to access.

Unfortunately the bathroom door and shower door had issues that owners were not aware of.

Clean, nicely decorated comfortable and good facilities.

This property was beautifully decorated, very clean and well maintained. There was a self check-in which suited us because it meant we could arrive at our convenience. There were clear instructions about how to check-in and the owners responded to messages in a timely way. This made us feel very welcome. It was useful having a kitchen next-door with a cooker microwave kettle, et cetera. We would highly recommend..

Very good communication with the owner

Communication was brilliant. We received clear instructions how to get to the property. Nobody wanted to steal our personal details by WhatsApp, so it was nice exception in the UK.

The wardrobe behind the bed wasn't really useful, would be better to have more free room, and the extractor fan in the bathroom was too loud.

I had an excellent stay at the Cosy Cabin and hope to return again when I'm in the area again.

When I saw the Cosy Cabin on the site It was just what I was after. When I booked it at less than 24 hours before my check in, the Host swiftly confirmed the details with me including how to check myself in. When I arrived there was plenty of parking for my car next to the Hosts property. The Cosy Cabin is at the rear of the hosts house; there was plenty of privacy and I was not overlooked. When I entered the cabin it was warm and welcoming. Everything was spotlessly clean and fresh. There is a coffee machine in the cabin with a selection of tea and coffee pods. It took a little working out how to get hot water out of it for my tea but saw there was a little blue insert that allowed me just to get boiled water from it. However, on a information sheet in the Cabin it said I could have used the adjacent kitchen if I preferred to use a normal kettle, however I didn't find the need to use that kitchen. The TV is is logged into the Hosts Netflix account. I'm not familiar with this type of TV but I found something interesting to watch! Bathroom (again spotlessly clean) had a electric power shower and gleaming shower screen, with nice towels hung on the heated towel rail. Overall I had a fantastic stay and the Cosy Cabin is something the Host should be proud of!

Location was good, the host made it simple and communicated very well. TV and bed were in perfect condition and modern. Everything you need in the kitchen was there and WiFi was working.

The bathroom was very small to contain only person yet tiny. Bathroom needs heater and the room required more heater capacity especially during winter. Other things were in place
