Great location in the center in quiet and stylish appartment
The appartment is centrally located, a few mins from the Grote Markt but in a quiet street, so the room was very quiet. The room is very stylish, with very nice design items. And you have access to the studio facilities and the art exibition on the first floor. Merel is a fabulous hostess, communication with her was very quick ans she was very supportive.
Stairs can be challenging.

This place is way more than your ordinary B&B! Felt like we had the whole house to our own. Superb location, fun details in the home (e.g. Christmas tree, drinks in the fridge, the best smelling air fresheners, ...). Would highly recommend this place to interior and design lovers
Some contents of the refrigerator were used & expired. No big deal, but takes off a hygiene point. Tasty & local breakfast goods were provided (e.g. eggs, milk, granola, jam), but not served as in your usual B&B. This wasn't very clear from the booking site

Karaktervolle luxe midden in het centrum
Heel vriendelijk ontvangen door Merel die ons ook veel goeie tips gaf voor leuke plekjes en goede restaurants in Mechelen. Het huis zelf is echt prachtig. Erg karaktervol, en smaakvol en met oog voor detail ingericht. Fijn dat er zoveel goede productjes aanwezig waren zoals o.a. handcrème en make up remover. De locatie is top: midden in het centrum maar 's nachts toch ook muisstil. Ook fijn dat we gebruik konden maken van de (heel mooie!) keuken. Zo konden we gezellig ons ontbijtje gaan halen op de zaterdagse markt en er in alle rust van genieten.

Er zijn genoeg leuke ontbijtopties in de omgeving.
De trap is, zoals Merel had aangegeven, voor mensen die goed ter been zijn.
