Perfect place for a short stay in Mechelen

the location was right in the town centre and parking was only a hundred meters away. Very confenient. The property was very clean and the facilities were just what we needed.

Very steep stairs to get to the property. It's part of the charm of the old house, but not easy with the bags.

Awesome stay in the heart of Mechelen

Simply amazing location in the middle of Mechelen, right next to Grote Markt and Sint Rombout Cathedral. The room is nicely decorated and you will instantly understand where its name is coming from. It was also very clean, had all the things we needed and a lovely little balcony as well. Bathroom amenities and the (not so) little kitchen were the cherry on the top.

As others already mentioned, the stairs to the first floor are steep and fairly narrow. As long as you're fit on foot, this won't be a problem though.

Perfect city centre location with the bonus of a kitchen. Quiet.

For me it was fine, but would be impossible for anyone with mobility issues or for older people. The stairs are difficult.

Mechelen ontdekken vanuit het hart van de stad.

De ruimtes waren kraaknet en voorzien van alle mogelijke comfort. Heel fijn dat er gratis koffie en thee beschikbaar waren en dat er aan zeer schappelijke prijzen nog wat lekkers klaar lag in de frigo. De ruimte is heel erg gezellig ingericht met oog voor detail en esthetiek. We kregen tips voor locaties om te gaan eten en ontbijten. De Griek was inderdaad een aanrader! ;-)

Werkelijk NIETS viel tegen. Wij hadden een topverblijf!

De ligging is super en de kamer erg fijn.

In de keuken weinig mogelijkheden om een ontbijtje klaar te maken, bv een ei koken/bakken kan niet, geen pan gezien en maar 1 eetlepel, geen goed mesje. Verder alles top, gratis koffie en thee 👍🏼

Prachtige locatie, overal dichtbij en een super leuke wijnbar naast de deur. Appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien. Fijne douche en een lekker bed! Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Mooi verzorgde studio, comfortabel bed en een fantastische locatie. Voorzieningen erg prettig. En ontvangst ook prettig en probleemloos.

De twee stoelen zou ik vervangen door een comfortabele tweezits bank :) Beetje oppassen met de trapjes.

De locatie was voortreffelijk. Alles in de buurt. Fijn onthaal. Prima voor 2 dagen. Leuk terrasje. Wel wat verder moeten parkeren.

Heel aangenaam en autentiek.

De locatie was uniek, midden in het centrum en toch rustig, de ruimte is klein maar toch heel comfortabel voor een paar dagen. Ook een mooie artistieke inrichting, prettig uitzicht ook op het groen. De keuken is privé te gebruiken en ook het toilet, al is die op de gang. Luxe douche met extra voorzieningen.

We vonden het bestek pas op de laatste dag maar was wel aanwezig toch in de la. Het enige lastige was dat de badkamer geen eigen verlichting heeft, als je daar licht wilde hebben, een beetje een donkere hoek, ging ook het grote licht in de kamer aan.

- Een hele vriendelijke man die ons begroette en uitleg gaf - Alles werd voordien doorgemaild (vervoer en hoe we in de kamer geraakten). - Uitchecken tot 11u - Grote kamer - Hele goeie locatie

- De trap is zeer smal om tot boven te geraken met je koffer of andere tassen.

Heerlijk ontspannen in een unieke kamer op toplocatie.

Fijn om het keukentje (incl. Koffie, thee, koelkastje) naast de kamer te hebben. Ook fijn dat de toilet vlakbij en toch in een apart kamertje was. Leuk ingericht, van alles voorzien wat ik nodig had (ruime, moderne lavabo, propere en fijne douche, musicbox,...) De houten vloer is heel mooi en prettig om met blote voeten op te wandelen. Terrasje is een mooie extra. Toplocatie! (Incheckmethode en chat vooraf ook een pluspunt!)

( Kamer te bereiken via steile trap van 1 verdiep hoog, aandachtspuntje voor wie niet goed te been is. )

Margaretha’s Room is een prachtige plek om te logeren in het hart van Mechelen, direct aan de Grote Markt en pal naast de indrukwekkende Sint‑Romboutskathedraal. De kamer is stijlvol ingericht en biedt alle comfort die je je maar kunt wensen, zoals airconditioning, een moderne badkamer met stoomcabine, een klein keukentje en een gezellig privé-terras. Alles is kraaknet. De gastheer is bereikbaar en attent. Je voelt je hier meteen welkom. Het is een echte aanrader voor wie Mechelen in stijl wil beleven.
